Episode 1

Jen the Fredo

To further promotion chances Jen becomes the firm's entertainment manager and is asked to accommodate three of Douglas's business associates, John, John and Phil. She plans to take them to a show but Roy points out that they want sexual entertainment and likens Jen to Fredo, the pimp in 'The Godfather' films. In the event the trio are heartily entertained by Moss's new 'Dungeons and Dragons' game and, at the same time, Douglas receives the Shithead of the Year award from the feminist committee, having been nominated by Jen. He throws it out of the window, narrowly missing Jen, who assumes he is trying to kill her, given the fate of Fredo in the film.

Episode 2

The Final Countdown

Roy moves into his new flat and is then mistaken for a window-cleaner; and celebrity status for Moss comes easy when he reaches new heights on the renowned quiz show Countdown (1982), leading to exclusive membership of the 8+ Club. Jen is envious to know just what is going on in the Heads of Department meetings where soft, white dressings gowns are involved. She's feeling very left out and eager to find out.

Episode 3

Something Happened

Roy hurts his back and sees a masseuse, actually a man, Paul, who kisses him on the arse and whom he takes to court to have him restrained whilst Douglas falls under the spell of a new religion - Spaceology, which makes him wish on the stars. His first wish is for a helicopter - so he buys one for himself; the next one is for a tattoo so he buys a book on the subject and tattoos a helicopter on his hand. The last wish is for a metal hand, which is accomplished when the tattoo turns septic, requiring amputation and a false hand, which he tests by smashing up the office. Jen meanwhile falls for Norman, the dull keyboard player in the band Sweet Billy Pilgrim but ditches him when he gets thrown out of the group.

Episode 4

Italian for Beginners

Jealous of co-worker Linda Jen lies that can speak Italian but shoots herself in the foot since she is then asked to act as interpreter for visiting businessman Signor Bernatelli. Moss tries to help her by installing voice-activated translator in her computer but since she is not allowed to use the computer in the conversation her lie is exposed. Moss meanwhile gets trapped inside a mechanical grab machine trying to get an I-phone out whilst Roy burns himself figuring out how his girlfriend's parents could have died in a water park fire.

Episode 5

Bad Boys

Roy, having bet Jen he can go all day without saying 'Have you tried switching it off and on again?' and Moss are caught up in a bomb scare in town, which they use to play truant from work, Moss stealing some 'Grand Design' DVDs from a store. Back at the office Jen is subject to hiring and firing chief Ben Genderson threatening to sack her. Moss is arrested but when the bomb deactivating robot fails to work Roy says 'Have you tried switching it off and on again?', thus losing his bet though Douglas was too busy watching the bomb coverage on TV to sack anybody and the 'bomb' package turns out to be a balloon - which scares Roy when it goes 'pop'.

Episode 6

Reynholm vs Reynholm

Douglas's wife Victoria - whom he thought was dead as she disappeared after two weeks of marriage - reappears, demanding a divorce and a hefty settlement which will ruin the company. Rather than engage a lawyer Douglas hires Jen to defend him in the divorce court as she is a 'relationship manager'. She calls Roy, Moss and Richmond as witnesses, all of whom are useless and when Victoria shows a Star Trek themed sex tape to show how her husband wastes his money all seems lost. Douglas fakes a heart attack but Jen gives an impassioned speech to say that the workers will be thrown onto the streets if Douglas is forced to make a huge pay-out, persuading Victoria to curb her demands and saving the day.
