Later, when another young girl is murdered another man Kennedy Brewer is sentenced with the use of similar bite mark evidence.

He is convicted of the crime after prosecutors conceals from the defense evidence that would impeach a key witness. Chester is sent to prison for life without parole.

The Innocence Files looks at the case of Alfred Dewayne Brown who was arrested after the 2003 murder of a Houston police officer. Two other suspects in the crime identify him as the murderer, but he has a solid alibi until his girlfriend suddenly and unexpectedly changed her story. Later it is revealed that she was threatened and imprisoned until she changed her story. Brown is sent to death row, but is later set free after exculpatory evidence is discovered during appeal. His conviction is vacated in 2014.
