Here's Looking at You, Hef

It's time for Hef's 80th birthday, a celebration which lasts an entire weekend. The girls all plan their gifts for Hef, who is not easy to get gifts for because he already has everything. Holly has purchased two white peacocks, Bridget plans to jump out of a cake and do a striptease routine, and Kendra has created a poster for a fake movie, "Playboy Mansion Confidential." Kendra notes that Hef's birthday is also the anniversary of when she and Hef met, two years before. As Hef's birthday approaches, Bridget is concerned about watching what she eats in order to look good for the striptease. The celebrations begin with Casablanca night, when Hef and guests watch Hef's favorite movie and the Mansion is decorated as "Rick's Cafe Americain." Kendra is concerned that her gift will not measure up to Holly's peacocks and Bridget's striptease.

It's the day of Hef's 80th birthday party. Holly has lunch with a group of Playmates from the 1970s, and they reminisce about Hef's birthday celebrations of the past. Bridget gets help from the staff in moving the cake she is to jump out of at the party. Kendra talks to her mom on the phone and is concerned that her gift to Hef will not live up to Holly's and Bridget's. Kendra's mom says she is eager to come to the party since she is looking for a husband. Before the party, Kendra presents Hef with the poster she had made for him, and he likes it. At the party, many celebrities are in attendance, rappers Three 6 Mafia perform, and Bridget jumps out of a cake and does a striptease, which is a big hit.

With their fame from the TV show and their Playboy pictorial, the girls now have new opportunities. Holly designs a line of The Girls Next Door jewelry, Bridget hosts Playboy TV's The Weekend Flash, and Kendra gets a flashy grill for her teeth.

Mutiny on the Booty

Hef tells the girls that their first Playboy pictorial was so popular that they have been invited to do another pictorial for the magazine. Hef arranges for them to be photographed on the round bed at the Playmate House, but the girls are all unenthusiastic about that because their first pictorial was shot there too. Holly suggests to Hef that she and the other girls should each get to appear in photos inspired by their individual personalities and interests. Hef doesn't think that should be the main focus of the pictorial, but he agrees to it as something to be added to the pictorial. At Playboy Studio West, the girls each have a concept with one being the focus and the other two taking supporting roles. Bridget's shoot is based on the movie "King Kong," Kendra's has her as a football player with the other two as cheerleaders, and Holly's is inspired by Marilyn Monroe's performance in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." Afterward, they pose together for the cover, a complex shot requiring them to be photographed from both the front and back for the front and back covers of the magazine. The girls are still concerned that Hef will make the round bed photos the focus of the pictorial and relegate the individual themed shots to a secondary role. However, Hef is pleasantly surprised by how well the themed photos went, and he informs them that the themed pictures will be the focus of the pictorial, which they are all happy about.

San Diego or Busts

The girls and Hef are going to San Diego to show Hef where Kendra grew up. They travel to San Diego in a private train car. Meanwhile, Kendra's mother Patti and Patti's mother Mary are cleaning the house to have it presentable for Hef. When the group arrives at Kendra's old house, Patti and Mary greet them and show them around. (Holly notes that, despite what Kendra has claimed, Kendra's neighborhood is not a ghetto.) Everybody watches a videotape of Kendra as a child, and they note that Kendra still has many of the same mannerisms. They all have lunch, and it's apparent that Patti has done research into Hef's preferences, because she serves some of his favorite foods. Kendra's brother brings some of his friends to the house to meet Hef. Later, Hef and the girls tour the Old Town of San Diego and pose for pictures with fans.

It's Easter time! The girls decorate Easter eggs as the mansion's staff prepares for a kid friendly party by hiding over 3,000 Easter eggs around the mansion's grounds. On Easter Sunday, Hef's friends arrive for a party and an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt.

The first stop is London where Kendra flashes Parliment and Bridget tries her first banger. Hef tells Kendra that for her 21st birthday, he's sending her and her friends to the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Before the trip to Las Vegas, Kendra's mother and grandmother come to visit her and bring presents. When the girls arrive at the Palms, they are all impressed by the suites, which are so luxurious that one suite even has its own bowling alley within. Kendra and friends enjoy swimming, gambling, and partying at a nightclub, then go to visit the Scores gentlemen's club. By the time they get back to the hotel, it's 4 a.m. and Kendra still wants to party. After returning to the Mansion, Kendra reflects on the fact that both she and Hef had major birthdays that year -- her 21st and his 80th.

Holly buys some new colorful tropical fish for the fish tank near the aviary, and Hef and Holly celebrate the anniversary by having a fondue dinner with Bridget, Kendra, and some friends. In other events, Bridget's aunt Jane visits to help Holly understand the behavior of Koko the spider monkey, and Kendra faces repercussions from a blog post she wrote about problems on the set of an Eminem music video.

Holly, Bridget, and Kendra plan to star in a workout video. The video producer and trainers come to the mansion to find out their plans for the video as well as to see how serious the girls are about doing the video by putting them through an initial workout. Kendra lives up to her athletic reputation by demonstrating herself the most fit of the three. The trainers advise the girls to follow a strict diet and exercise routine to prepare for the video shoot, but Bridget is reluctant to do so. In the meantime, the girls and Hef go to the Improv one evening to see Playmate Julie McCullough's standup comedy routine; afterwards, they go to Arby's, where Julie joins them in eating fast food. The girls each rehearse their segments of the workout with a trainer, although Kendra is distracted by her need to find out the score of the San Diego Chargers game. Finally, at the mansion, Holly, Bridget, and Kendra film their respective segments of the workout video. Despite their anxieties, they each complete their segments successfully.

Playboys After Dark

The girls prepare to go with Hef for the opening of the Playboy Club at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Everyone is excited about the fact that the Playboy Club is coming back into existence. They fly to Las Vegas where they are greeted by resort owner George Maloof. Next, they visit their suite in the hotel, the luxurious Hugh Hefner Sky Villa. Everything about the suite impresses them. The group goes to visit the Playboy Club itself, where they are impressed by all the detail that went into the design. Bridget gets to interview Hef and Maloof for the television show "Extra." After doing an autograph session at the Playboy Store, Hef and the girls return to the hotel to get ready for the grand opening. The ceremony features Hef and Maloof pushing the button to light up the giant Bunny logo on the side of the hotel. Afterwards, the group enjoys partying at the newly opened club, then returning to the Sky Villa for further celebration.
