The Rubbles want to adopt the kid, however, the Bedrock Adoption Agency has another person on the list to adopt Bamm-Bamm: the rich Mr.Rockerfeather.

Fred and Barney take all means to bring Dino back. They think Dino was dog-napped by an obnoxious movie producer who has a Dino look-a-like. Fred bets he'll spend one week in Dino's dog house if it's the wrong dog he chose...

With Barney not wanting to get his ball broken, what will Fred do ?

Two major league scouts from the Boulder City Giants, Leo Ferocious and Casey Stangel noticed him, but mistaken for Fred. He gets the offer, but his over-inflated ego irates both families, especially when they try to make him think it is Roger Marble who deserves to be a big leaguer...

Then Fred, while awake, overhears the girls talking about what they've been up to, and he comes up with the perfect way both to get even with the girls and to nip in the bud their latest effort: to get the boys to buy them mink coats.

Back home, Wilma is delighted with the "gift," but Fred suspects that Pebbles snatched it. He goes back at night with Barney to the jewelry store to sneak the collar back, but the thief is waiting there to recover his loot.

As the rest are a bit annoyed of this arrogance, a couple of jewel smugglers, Rocco and Stella, want to take advantage of Fred's naive attitude, despite the fact that Wilma does not like the sexy looks of Stella.

However, after Fred leaves, it is found out a huge Boy Scout Jamboree is taking place there. The first morning both families wake up, they're surrounded by tents and boy scouts. However, the scout master, after informing Fred and Barney that the valley was booked in advance by the scout troops, allows them to stay. While the peace and quiet trip they were hoping for is no more, it turns out to be the most fun trip they've ever had.
