Gessler hears of the meeting and has his hat set upon a pole. All who pass it must bow to it or face death. Unaware of this decree, William innocently transgresses, but his execution is commuted to a wicked display of his marksmanship with arrows: He is ordered to shoot an apple from his 9-year-old son's head. William succeeds, and Gessler's injustice triggers an uprising.

Aboard ship, young Jim Hawkins alerts Dr. Lindsey and Captain Smollett of mutiny plans he overheard from ship's cook Long Jong Silver.

Defeating Lord Winter, D'Artagnan reaches Lord Buckingham, so Milady de Winter plots to intercept his return trip to France, which he also overcomes. Reunited with the Musketeers, the four return to France, triumphant, and D'Artagnan receives his commission into the Musketeers.

As the others leave for the mine, magical Bartholomew stays behind to protect Snow White. The Queen, offering her soul to the underworld for help in a fourth attack, is given a poisoned apple and the guise of a hag. As bad magic changes Bartholomew into a frog, Snow White collapses from the apple. Prince Valor arrives; Snow White revives and marries him. The enraged Queen breaks her magic mirror, which turns her back into a hag and whisks her away to the underworld. Bartholomew turns back into a dwarf, and everyone lives happily ever after.

Around 1760, Rip Van Winkle is a friendly man in colonial America. He performs chores for friends and acquaintances but neglects his own home and lives in fear of his shrewish wife. The colonies have gained independence, and the people are politically divided along party lines. His wife and most of his friends are dead, and his children are adults. Rip settles into a new life as a respected village elder.

Dick Tracy has the mob on the ropes. The leaders of the mob, including Pruneface, Flattop, Itchy, the Mole, the Brow and Mumbles, confer about what to do. Pruneface reveals he "already has a plan in motion." He's arranged to bring back to the U.S. Squinty Eyes, a killer deported some years earlier. Separately, Tracy and Pat Patton are informed by Interpol that Squinty Eyes is headed to the U.S. Tracy, noting the resemblance between Squinty Eyes and "the famous actor" Mr. Magoo, recruits the thespian. The police seize Squinty Eyes upon his arrival and Mr. Magoo takes his place, but Mr. Magoo gets more than he bargained for when he finds out that Pruneface wants Squinty Eyes to kill Tracy. Adding a complication, Squinty Eyes escapes custody.

A duke and duchess, hearing of this mad knight, decide to test his fidelity for their amusement, first with a serenade, second with an instruction for Sancho to be lashed. Finally, Samson Borasco appears as a knight to challenge Don Quixote, winner to be master of the loser.

Willian Kidd, a privateer whose origin in piracy may have begun when he knowingly attacked a Dutch ship while England was at war with France. Kidd is later arrested and hanged for atrocities committed by Red Dog under Kidd's name.

Paul will raise lanterns to warn colonists of either a land raid or a sea raid, then will begin his famous ride to awaken the colonials to revolution.
