Their opponent is Discovery Bay, a Caribbean restaurant in Huddersfield. Gordon goes all the way to Canada to taste something new and delicious, the snow goose. Ian Wright hopes to score as he challenges Gordon in making Caribbean Jerk Chicken.

Two British restaurants are selected to compete in the F Word tournament: The Pheasant at Keyston from Cambridgeshire and The Swan from West Malling. Gordon travels to Lapland, Finland to get his hands on an almost mystical creature, the reindeer. Burlesque star Dita Von Teese and English cricketer Freddie Flintoff makes an appearance as a guest, while singer Peter Andre challenges Gordon in the recipe challenge.

This week, Doukan, a Moroccan restaurant from South London, and Retsina, a Greek restaurant from North London, become the final contestants in the show. Gordon attempts to create a traditional cuisine, Halloumi cheese. Janet Street-Porter has to face the dreaded moment of slaughtering her pigs for the F Word finale. She also learns how to make pastillas with wood pigeon filling from a Moroccan chef. Johnny Vaughan, Kate Silverton, and Fay Ripley attempt to beat Gordon in a best out of 3 recipe challenge. Stavros Flatley gives a special presentation to close the year.
