Max, a super-powered private eye, meets a new client dealing with a traumatic experience. Max taps into "The Connection," a sixth sense that allows him to decipher events through emotions. His friend Wynton refers him to a new bodyguard in town who wants in on some superhero action. Their personalities are like oil and water, but when their mentor goes missing they discover larger machinations at work that threaten the fate of this super-powered world.
