Cleveland tries to reconnect with Peter again by going to Rhode Island, but Peter rejects Cleveland, leaving him heartbroken. Cleveland takes his friends to a friendship retreat, but their vacation takes a very ugly turn, when they get captured by hillbillies. Cleveland is able to escape, but he goes back to save his friends, he gets captured again. Before Cleveland and his friends get assaulted, Peter arrives to save Cleveland and his friends and he has the Evil Monkey defeat the hillbillies. Peter apologizes to Cleveland for his insensitive remark towards him and the two become friends again. Meanwhile, Rallo goes to his pre-school reunion with Donna and she enters Rallo in the Quiz Bowl.

Cleveland and Rallo must put aside their differences so they can save Donna and Junior from Donny's murderous rampage. Meanwhile, Roberta develops a crush on both Edwin and Caleb. At the Halloween party, Roberta becomes shocked that Edwin and Caleb are infatuated with each other.

At the park, Rallo and Junior witness Hazel taking advantage of another man. Hazel soon threatens Rallo that she'll make his life a living nightmare if he tells Murray or anyone about her scams. At the nursing home, Rallo becomes dismayed that Murray is marrying Hazel, but he agrees to attend his friend's wedding. Rallo comes up with another plan to expose Hazel by getting two of her previous lovers. At the wedding, Rallo tries to warn Murray about Hazel's manipulative nature, but he doesn't believe him. Hazel has Murray recommitted back to the nursing home and she claims his money for herself; leaving Murray devastated. Murray and Rallo decide to get revenge on Hazel by placing a bunch of cats at her condominium. Hazel runs out the street naked after seeing a bunch of cats and she is soon institutionalized. Meanwhile, Donna forces Cleveland to join a gym because of his unhealthy diet. Cleveland uses shape-wear to fool Donna into thinking he has lost weight.

In Cleveland's version, when Waterman Cable Company is taken hostage on Christmas Eve by a group of terrorists, including Tim the Bear, Lester, Federline and Kendra, a barefoot Cleveland - wearing a tank-top much like the one Bruce Willis wore in the movie - must endure window-shattering shoot-outs and fist fights with his friends to save his wig-wearing wife, Donna, in a parody of the greatest Christmas blockbuster movie ever.

However, Cleveland regains his hearing and he puts ear plugs in his ears, but he soon learns that Donna is going to Florida to attend college. Cleveland soon heads to Florida to admit to Donna about he lied to her about the hunting trip and how he lost his hearing, but Donna refuses to come back. In Stoolbend, the Brown-Tubbs house is in a disarray, and Donna soon comes back but she still plans on attending college. Meanwhile, Roberta tries to run for class president against her step-brother. Junior is desperate to win the election, he has Rallo place his votes in the ballot box. Roberta soon wins the election, but she drops out, and she allows her step-brother to remain class president.
