Cleveland has already lost his house to his cheating ex-wife, Loretta and he is given custody of his son. Cleveland and his son, Junior go to California to start their lives over again, but they make a pit-stop to Stoolbend, Virginia. Cleveland soon meets up with Donna Tubbs (his high school sweetheart from twenty years ago). Cleveland begins to contemplate whether or not he should stay in Stoolbend and help Donna raise her two rambunctious kids Rallo and Roberta from her previous marriage to Robert. When Robert tries to steal Donna away from Cleveland again, he finally gains the courage to admit his love for Donna. Cleveland and Donna finally get married, with their loved ones attending the ceremony. Quagmire asks Peter if he can have his own show, but he reminds his friend that it's not going to happen.

Cleveland decides to fix everything by pretending he is having an affair with two attractive women. Donna praises Cleveland for his selfless act and she starts to hang out with her friends again. Meanwhile, Cleveland Jr. runs for student body president and Rallo becomes his campaign manger because Oliver is running for the position. Rallo has Junior pretend to be blind so he can get more votes. During the election speech, Junior notices a stage light is about to hurt Oliver and he manages to save his life, but the students notice that Junior can see. Rallo claims that Junior has regained his eyesight and the students are moved by his statement. Oliver shows gratitude towards Junior for saving his life and he resigns from the campaign. Junior wins the student body position.

Cleveland's feelings are hurt when Freight Train chooses Robert to be his best man. On the day of the wedding, Cookie becomes heartbroken that Freight Train didn't show up at the wedding. Cleveland goes to Robert's apartment and he talks some sense into his abusive father. Freight Train apologizes to Cookie and he still wants to marry her and start their lives over. Cookie and Freight Train finally get married. Earth, Wind, & Fire perform at the wedding and all of the guests enjoy the party as fireworks are going off.
