Champion boxer Kirk Carter is found drowned on the eve of his next fight. Eastern Insurance asks John Hunter has to investigate. Carter's fiancee Verna Matthews is suspicious about the recent behaviour of promoter Sam Harvey.

Gene Walker asks Rudy Lamb to stage a hold up in his own home so he can steal his wife's diamonds. Lamb follows his instructions but sees Walker shoot his wife before killing him. Eastern Insurance asks John Hunter to investigate.

Eastern European doctor, Austice Serafin dies giving aid in an epidemic in Kolitz. He has a large insurance policy with Eastern Insurance with brother flying into collect it however Serafin's widow claims he is still alive.
Episode 4
Walter Allan gets a call from the husband of his cousin that he has been robbed. He and John Hunter to go and help and find the man strangled. The police have been given the name Ralph Nixon but he has vanished.
Episode 5
Joy Allington is nearly killed on a skiing holiday in Switzerland. She sends a letter to Walter Allen telling him that her husband was trying to kill her. As the couple have accident insurance he sends Hunter to investigate.

Champion steeplechase horse 'The Mighty Warrior' falls and dies during a race costing Eastern Insurance £20,000. Hunter is sent to investigate Jefford and O'Shea stables and discovers that trainer Betty Fuller vanished after the race.

SS Tilman sinks with all hands. Owner Gormley sells it's sister ship, the SS Sircon for scrap. After collecting the insurance he buys a new freighter. When crewman Varga, who was on the Tilman, is found murdered questions are asked.

Eastern Insurance get a call that Wilcox Jewelry Store has been robbed. Wilcox are clients so Hunter is sent to investigate. It's John Killian first day, in the store, and he recognises a gang member but decides to use it to get a cut.

World famous pianist Leon Bender hands are insured for £50,000. Walter Allen is suspicious that three days before a car accident the insurance was doubled. John Hunter doesn't believe the evidence of Bender's car accident can be true.
Episode 10
Bosses at Eastern Insurance have put Walter Allen under pressure after they have paid on six safe robberies. The last three break in's have been at Filo's. Hugh Filo has recommended the Marsh safe, used by the six companies.

A airplane crashes with all lives lost. Three weeks after the crash, Eastern Insurance starts to pay out claims. A witness come forward to say the plane exploded. Why has Philip Burns started a new relationship just after his wife's death?

Engineer Leon Little is the only person to die in a train wreck that leaves Eastern Insurance paying a Double Indemnity for an accidental death. Rail investigator Potter believes it was murder not accident so John Hunter is called in.

Peggy Mliler gets £10,000 following her husband Charlie's heart attack and vanishes. Eastern Insurance gave Miller a medical, a year before, which he passed as A1. After he died the body showed signs of a major heart condition.

Tom Jordan and wife Alice scheme to fake his death in a car crash. Alice identify's the body has Tom, leaving Eastern Insurance to pay £50,000 after one installment. John Hunter needs to prove Alice is lying and Tom is still alive.

Gordon Chapman is shot dead just when he was considering changing his £50,000 insurance policy away from his wife. His investigator Skif Bennett is also murdered and everything points to mobster Frankie Gregg. Who is he working for?

D.J. Howell's kennel man Padfield is found dead. He has been savaged by rival breeder George Kelsing's dog Zephyr. The dog will be put down and Eastern Insurance face a £10,000 bill but Howard discovers, from Howell, that Kelsing is broke.

When George Barker is murdered, Eastern Insurance immediately become suspicious about the beneficiary Donna Garcia. They soon discover that she is Alba Martinez and with along husband Ferba wanted for murder.

Conman Major Randolph is heading to Tangiers for a big score when he bumps into Jim Bates, who he owes money to. When the plane crashes, his sister Mabel is set to inherit £10,000 and Bates wants his money and knows the Major didn't die.

Eastern Insurance get involved in an Hollywood publicity stunt when they agree to insure dancer Anita Faraday legs for £50,000 each, for a week. When she breaks her ankle they have to pay £100,000 but John Hunter wants to investigate.

Mr. Simpson delivers the work's wages every Friday. When he is robbed and beaten, Eastern Insurance are libel. They look at Simpson's driver George Petersen but he is later found murdered. The search is now on for his accomplice.

Mrs. Osborne's emeralds have been stolen from her hotel room. She doesn't want the insurance instead she wants Eastern to get the emeralds back. Cat burglar Harry Flash is suspected so John Hunter tries to track him down.

American violinist Felix Adrian is playing in the village of Rushmore. Eastern have insured him but Walter Allen is convinced they are working a scam. After Adrian traps his hand in a lift door, Hunter is sent to discover the truth.

Seven years after Professor James Kayle moved to an island. near Singapore, his wife Gail arrives at Eastern Insurances demanding a cheque for £50,000. John Hunter travels to the Far East to find confirmation of his death.
Episode 24
The story of how John Hunter became to work for Eastern Insurance. Hunter came to Britain with a circus and met a girl from Cornwall. When a fire broke out at the circus, the safe is emptied and Hunter needs to prove his innocence.

When fortune teller Madam Oszeny is murdered at the Carnival of Fun, Eastern Insurance take notice as the circus has been paid out for it's losses. Eastern learn she was a police informer so Hunter goes undercover to find the fraudster.
Episode 26
Eastern Insurance pay £6,000 to Ken Northwood when his classic Brilton Deluxe car is stolen. Three other insurers have also paid out for Brilton's. Hunter learns Northwood visits showrooms, collects details and then insures the cars.

Bill Harrison has just been acquitted of murder. He was escorting diamonds, to London but came down with malaria and is unsure where they are now. Crooks Bailing and Gerber are on his tail but Eastern Insurance make a better deal.
