They are all as excited to be able to see Cindy in the play as Cindy is excited to have the largest cheering section with her large family in attendance. But Cindy's excitement changes when she learns that because of the large number of people involved in the production and the relatively small auditorium, each cast member is only issued one ticket. It's bad enough that her siblings and Alice can't attend, but she doesn't know how to choose between her parents. Her mother has attended everything she's ever been involved with and is her biggest booster, but she doesn't want to make her new father feel excluded. Fri, Oct 17, 196925 mins

For any domestic chores or to manage their problems, Mike and the boys turn to Alice as they always have since Mike's first wife/the boys' mother passed away. Alice comes to the realization that they should instead turn to Carol to make her feel like the woman of the house and truly the boys' mother. Alice's plan works like a charm as Carol feels buoyed by the boys and Mike turning to her. One side effect of this plan is the girls feeling neglected by Carol, which she can explain and rectify. What Alice didn't count on was feeling like she is no longer needed in the Brady household as the boys in particular now always turn to Carol instead of her. As such, she makes up a pretense to leave their employ. Mike and Carol can't tell her not to go, but when they learn the real reason for her leaving, they have to try and come up with a way of not just telling her but really showing her how much they want her to stay.

Kitty Karry-All Is Missing

Fri, Nov 7, 196925 mins

Cindy's favorite toy is her doll, Kitty Karry-All, who she treats like a real baby. Bobby has often stated that he doesn't like Kitty as her presence affects his ability to play with his favorite toy, a kazoo. So when Kitty goes missing, an emotionally tearful Cindy naturally assumes Bobby took her as he was the only person seemingly around, even though she didn't actually see him do so, and he had motive. Bobby pleads innocence in the matter, stating that his affection for Cindy as a sister trumps whatever he may have said about Kitty, which Cindy does not buy. As everyone in the house turns it upside down looking for Kitty, Mike and Carol try to mediate the dispute between Cindy and Bobby, while the other kids side with one sibling or another, which affects the relationship between all six kids. The mystery deepens when Bobby's kazoo goes missing, the shoe now on the other foot as he automatically blames Cindy as again she was the only other person seemingly around at the time the kazoo went missing despite he not seeing her take it, and she had motive. And like Bobby before her, Cindy pleads innocence. Regardless, Bobby tries to extend an olive branch to Cindy in the only way he can not being the person who took Kitty. But the mystery of the missing toys may only be solved by the real culprit trying to steal again.

Sorry, Right Number

Fri, Nov 21, 196925 mins

With Carol and the three girls added to the household, Carol convinces Mike to install a second telephone line into the home. One line into the den would be for Mike and Carol's exclusive use (and the kids only in emergencies), and the kids and Alice would use the telephone in the family room. The second telephone line makes matters worse as the kids constantly use the den telephone on what they deem emergencies, while someone else in the house is using the family room telephone. Even implementing rules for the family room telephone don't seem to solve the constant squabbling between the kids who are clamoring to use the telephone. The last straw for Mike is when he receives the astronomical telephone bill, and sees all the toll charges incurred. Taking a cue from Sam the butcher, Mike thinks he has the answer: exchange the family room telephone for a pay telephone. Although the extra money provided to each child to make telephone calls is more than their telephone bill, Mike believes it will teach the kids responsible use. But Mike doesn't foresee a certain business problem the pay telephone causes him.

Carol altering some hand me down clothes for him - which Greg and Peter don't get - and all the older kids taking off for the evening either without saying goodbye or telling him straight to his face that he can't go along makes Bobby not only feel like the brunt of the evil stepmother's actions, but unloved by everyone in the house. When Alice learns why Bobby is in such a down mood and passes the information along to Carol and Mike, Bobby's parents think the way to make Bobby feel loved is to get him an early birthday present of a bicycle. The Voice of Christmas

Fri, Dec 19, 196925 mins

The Bradys are excited about spending their first Christmas together as a combined family. Carol has been chosen to sing the solo at the Christmas morning church service, so Mike decides to buy her a tape recorder for Christmas so that she can keep a recording of herself singing. But Carol's practicing and the tape recorder may all be for naught as days before Christmas, Carol loses her voice. Luckily, she finds out that she is afflicted with nothing more serious than vocal strain induced laryngitis, but that still does not provide any comfort in that if it does clear by Christmas, she won't be able to sing at the church service. Regardless, all the Christmas chores still have to get done, and Alice does her part by mixing up a Nelson home remedy, however intolerable, to help Carol get past her laryngitis. But Carol's laryngitis places a pall over the entire family, so much so that the older kids contemplate postponing Christmas altogether until their mother is feeling all right. Six year old Cindy takes this feeling to an extreme when on Christmas Eve as her mother feels no closer to regaining her voice, she asks the department store Santa Claus for her mother's voice back so that she can sing at the church service, to which the Santa, unable to deny Cindy anything she wants, promises that he will do so. This promise brings up a problem for Mike, who has to try and explain to Cindy why her mother probably will not get her voice back by Christmas, while not bursting adolescent Cindy's innocent notions of the magic and spirit of Christmas.

So it's a case of one doctor too many when both Dr. Porter and Dr. Cameron come to the house. What's more disconcerting for Peter is that Dr. Porter is a woman. When the other five kids come home each with the measles, Mike and Carol not only have an issue in catering to the bedridden kids' every whim, but they have to decide which of Drs. Porter and Cameron will be the family pediatrician. Each of the six kids want to see their own doctor, and not the other. Mike's Horror-Scope

Fri, Jan 16, 197025 mins

Just for fun, Carol is on an astrology kick, she reading her horoscope every night for the following day. She and Mike are able to laugh about Mike's horoscope - that a strange woman will soon come into his life - until that horoscope comes true, that strange woman in the form of new client, cosmetics giant Beebe Gallini, who wants Mike to design her new factory. Beebe's reputation of being irresistible to any man she meets precedes her, at least to Carol. Although Mike can see that Beebe is an exotically beautiful woman, he sees her more as a temperamental client whose expectations, especially in an engineering sense, are unrealistic. Regardless, Mike feels he has to cater to every and all of Beebe's whims, which includes working weekends, often in close proximity to her. Mike's extended working hours in turn affects the entire Brady household as Carol and Alice have to take over many of his family obligations, obligations which they may not be well equipped to handle. Will Carol ever not feel jealous of Beebe? And is there a tipping point where Mike will only take so much of Beebe before not feeling guilty about losing her as a client?

When Alice finds a note in Greg's book, they learn that Greg is sick, but not quite the way they had originally thought: he's lovesick, the note being a love letter he wrote to a girl named Linda. Mike and Carol want to help Greg in dealing with his puppy love and by association his lack of focus in math class without letting on that they know about the love letter. This approach doesn't seem to open Greg up to talking about the issue, so they figure they have to find out more about the Linda of his affections. After much searching, they do find Linda, but she's not quite whom they had expected. Ultimately, a friend of Greg's math teacher, Miss O'Hara, may be able to help Greg refocus his priorities back on math.
