On 21 December 1988, a bomb detonates on board Pan Am Flight 103 above the town of Lockerbie in Southern Scotland, killing all 259 on board and 11 people on the ground. The Scottish police and the FBI must join forces to find the culprits.
Episode 2
In the weeks following the bombing of an American airliner over Lockerbie, the pressure on the joint Scottish-FBI inquiry to make progress is immense. The investigation closes in on its first suspect.
Episode 3
The Scottish police head to the USA with new evidence and a possible breakthrough. However, the CIA appears to be withholding crucial intelligence on a possible constructor of the bomb.
Episode 4
The luggage list from Frankfurt Airport and bomb-damaged clothing found within the debris leads Scottish CID to a small clothes shop on the island of Malta. Was this the origin of the bomb that brought down Pan Am Flight 103?
