Patty Walker (Andrea Evans) is stranded on the roadside by a sudden illness, she's rescued by Jack Madison (John Aprea). As news of the pandemic starts to spread throughout Bay City, Sara Garrett (Mary Beth Evans) finds her reunion with twin granddaughters Frankie and Regan (Bianca D'Ambrosio and Chiara D'Ambrosio) short lived. At the hospital, Pete (Kristos Andrews) and Lex (Tristan Rogers) discuss the Adam Kenway impostor and are on a mission to find out more about him. Pete's wife, Vivian (Karrueche Tran), shows up at the hospital and offers to help.

Lianna (Jade Harlow) moves into a new place and has a threatening encounter with her new neighbor. Vivian (Karrueche Tran) is at the hospital visiting the Fake Adam Kenway when his condition takes a turn that sends shock-waves throughout the Garrett family. Pete (Kristos Andrews) and Lex (Tristan Rogers) deliver heartbreaking news to Sara (Mary Beth Evans). As Bay City moves closer towards the pandemic lock down, Daniel (Eric Nelsen) makes his final choice between Matthew (Randy Wayne) and Caleb (Mike Manning).

Sara (Mary Beth Evans) and Blackwell (Ronn Moss) exchange information. After leaving his shift at the hospital R.J. (Najee De-Tiege) is subjected to discrimination, racism, and civil rights violations by a member of the Bay City Police Department. Covid-19 continues spreading throughout Bay City, the hospital is close to maximum capacity. Nurse Matthew Johnson (Randy Wayne) and former Mayor Jack Madison (John Aprea) both start showing signs of having contracted the virus. Sara (Mary Beth Evans) is overcome with grief after fake Adam's death, realizing that her actual son Adam might still be alive somewhere. After learning some life changing news, Pete (Kristos Andrews) and Vivian (Karrueche Tran) re-ignite the passion in their new home.

Pete discovers someone has hacked into one of his accounts and accessed a sizable amount of money. Damian (Erik Fellows) returns to the Blackwell family home surprising Evan (Brandon Beemer) and Tamara (Celeste Fianna). Pete and Evan have a heated exchange over lack of progress. Sara (Mary Beth Evans) shares a sweet moment with Pete (Kristos Andrews) as they discuss the impending arrival of Pete and Vivian's baby. Jealous tensions mount between Daniel (Eric Nelsen) and Caleb (Mike Manning), after Daniel expresses some concerns. Lianna crosses paths with the real Adam Kenway (Kristos Andrews), believing he is Pete. Xander, Frankie, and Regan take a stand for equality.

A break-in at the Blackwell family home reveals an unlikely suspect and betrayal. Tamara (Celeste Fianna) sees a side of Evan (Brandon Beemer) she has never seen. A Bay City peaceful protest turns ugly and puts Vivian (Karrueche Tran) and her pregnancy in extreme danger, as a member of the BCPD goes rogue. Pete (Kristos Andrews) rushes to the hospital. R.J. (Najee De-Tiege) is arrested without cause. Xander (Dante Aleksander), Frankie (Bianca D'Ambrosio), and Regan (Chiara D'Ambrosio) capture critical events on video. Damian (Erik Fellows) and Avery (Alicia Leigh Willis) have a change of plans. Sara (Mary Beth Evans) questions some of her past decisions as her father Jack (John Aprea) takes a turn for the worse. Steve (Matthew Ashford) and Orchid (Terri Ivens) are spotted in Istanbul and Blackwell (Ronn Moss) is on the prowl.
