These characters include: The Bobbits, a married country western musical duo hoping for a comeback; Frank Mancini, a pushy and vicious Australian stage dad with dreams of showbiz success for himself and his children; Sandy Duncan-Hines and her younger husband Will, Misery's ultra conservative political power couple; Trisha and Heidi Hines, Sandy and Will's spoiled teenage daughters who are running for student government; and Herbert and Mary Esther Schmidt, a deranged pastor and his agoraphobic wife.
