Eleven teams of two people travel from Melbourne, Victoria to Lombok, Indonesia. Some people have to battle both the wind and a fear of heights at the Road Block.
Episode 2

The eleven teams travel from Lombok, Indonesia to Hue, Vietnam. Many teams struggle to find flights out of Indonesia. One team asks about getting off the island by bus, while another team cannot agree on how they should get to Vietnam, causing sparks to fly.
Episode 3
The ten remaining teams travel from Hue, Vietnam to Macau, China. They all have to search for a good fortune among hundreds of cookies in Hong Kong, but will any of them be brave enough to attempt a hair-raising Fast Forward?
Episode 4
The nine remaining teams travel from Macau, China to Waterford, South Africa, where they have to scale great heights to face their greatest fears. One team embraces the African traditions, while another team falls foul of the law.
Episode 5
The eight remaining teams stay in South Africa as they travel from Waterford to Cape Town. A visit to a local orphanage to deliver some much needed school supplies helps to put the competition into perspective for some teams.
Episode 6
The seven remaining teams travel from Cape Town, South Africa to Prague, Czech Republic. In Amsterdam, the teams are challenged to stomach a local delicacy. At Prague, the friendships start to splinter, and one team's decision to put the prize ahead of maintaining the relationships they have built up could come back to haunt them. At the Detour, some teams struggle to find the key to a damsel's heart, while others have their strength put to the test when they deliver a princess to her castle.
Episode 7
The six remaining teams stay in the Czech Republic as they travel from Prague to Kutná Hora. Not all of the teams are as observant as they need to be when they become Czech spies. Some teams find a visit to the ice skating rink to line up against the national ice hockey team's goalkeeper to be the most physically gruelling challenge so far. One team find themselves in trouble with the law twice, while a local sausage sizzle doesn't appeal to everyone's taste buds at the Detour.
Episode 8
The six teams continue the leg as they travel from Kutná Hora, Czech Republic to Niedzica, Poland, battling fatigue along the way. One team is robbed of their money and passports while they are on board a train for Poland. One person from each team heads underground in one of the world's oldest salt mines at the Road Block, while herding sheep frustrates some of the teams at the Detour. The final challenge ends in disaster for more than one team.
Episode 9
The five remaining teams travel from Niedzica, Poland to Masada, Israel, where they face a daunting journey through the Middle Eastern heat to a desert fortress. One team fails to make it to the Pit Stop.
Episode 10
The four remaining teams stay in Israel as they travel from Masada to Jerusalem. The teams' knowledge of Hebrew is put to the test at the Road Block. Scaling the walls of Jerusalem's old city proves to be a difficult final hurdle.
Episode 11
The four teams travel from Jerusalem, Israel to Colombo, Sri Lanka. A decision about which class carriage to ride in during a train trip could prove costly for one team. They all struggle with their history, but a masked street parade gives them the opportunity to make up for lost time. A sewing challenge turns into a disaster for all of the teams at the Road Block.
Episode 12
The final three teams travel from Colombo, Sri Lanka to Perth, Western Australia. In Singapore, a tightrope walk 55 storeys high puts some of the teams' nerves to the test at the Detour, before they seek their riches from a local fortune teller. At their final destination city, they search some cells in Fremantle Prison for a clue before struggling to remember their journey's highlights at the Road Block. The first team to reach the finish line wins the A$250,000 prize.
