On Axl Johnson's twenty-first birthday, it's not all about drinking to full capacity. Family members engage him in a private family tradition where he learns that all of them are reincarnated Norse gods. To everyone's interest, young Axl is Odin, with all signs heralding his coming, but no one is yet aware of the band of young women out to end Axl's life before he reaches twenty-one or much beyond it. Being Odin comes with a condition - a quest - that must be fulfilled before everyone is imperiled.

Meanwhile, Olaf and Ingrid bond, and Anders and Michele spar with one another.

At a bar, drowning his sorrows, Mike is tempted into a game of darts. Axl becomes so jealous when he finds out that Gaia has a boyfriend that he starts drinking and breaks into Anders' apartment in search of more alcohol. We all know bad things happen to mortals who get involved with Gods.
