The Mark

Sir Blaise, a Norman lord, plans to build a fortress on his land. To dupe the community, he lets it be known that the new building is to be a church in honour of St Barnaby. Enter Robin Hood and Frier Tuck, and the knight is soon given a very heavy cross to bear.

To escape a forced marriage to Walter, Brenda runs away from home. Having proved herself a gallant archer by saving Robin's life, in return she asks a favour - she wishes to become Robin's wife.

However, when they get there they find that the somewhat eccentric farmer has restricted everyone, including his malnourished servants, to one small meal of a dry grain he calls "The New Ambrosia". Robin sets out to convince the man that his "healthy" new lifestyle isn't healthy at all, for him or anyone else.

One Robin in Sherwood is one too many for the Sheriff - now there are two. Tom the Thatcher is impersonating the outlaw to impress his girlfriend, Alma. But as Tom soon discovers, playing outlaw has its serious side.

Dr. Quince, an historian and a friend of Robin's, is working on excavating an old Roman villa for historical items and archaeological artifacts. The Sheriff, however, believes that Quince is hiding a fortune in gold there, and wants to get his hands on it.

Believing that the land belonging to Simon Dexter is haunted, local farmers seek advice from Frier Tuck. He is sceptical but agrees to accompany Robin to Dexter 's estate. What they find astonishes both men.

Master Blount, a miserly tailor, is jealous of Ulrich, the landlord of the Blue Boar Inn which Robin and his men frequent. To implicate the innkeeper, Blount informs the Sheriff, who employs the tailor to spy for him.

The tournament over, three Knights decide to earn some money by claiming the reward for Robin's capture. Disguised as strolling players, they enter the outlaws' camp and await their opportunity to strike.

In desperate need of money, Sir Boland has promised the hand of his ward, Melissa, to Sir Louis, an elderly Norman. When Tuck, a friend of the girl's hears this news, he and Robin make arrangements of their own.

The Genius

Nicodemus, a master mathematician, seeks entrance to the Abbey of Southwall to escape Prince John - who is anxious to use the scholar's genius to construct a deadly weapon. Refused entrance, Nicodemus seeks refuge in Sherwood.

The Youthful Menace

Edwin, Marian's cousin, is scornful of her claims about Robin's allegiance to King Richard. To confirm her knowledge, Marian takes him to the outlaw camp. That proves to be a mistake as Edwin's presence becomes a threat to Robin's freedom.

The Minstrel

A minstrel's song can prove very handy, particularly when it helps Robin and his outlaw foil a dastardly plot by Prince John, who is conspiring to form an alliance with the Prince of Aragon.

The Doctor

When Little John breaks his leg while escaping from the Sheriff, Robin and Frier Tuck take him home of Sir George Woodley, a specialist in broken limbs. While the doctor attends Little John, his servant reports their visit to the Sheriff.

The Sheriff plans to raise some money for Prince John by using a clever variation on an old theme. His plan seems foolproof - but as always, he has reckoned without Robin's intervention.

The Fire

Having cornered Little John and Derwent in a cave, the Sheriff orders his men to smoke them out. From the flames of defeat appears new hope - and the Sherifff will eventually have to seek Robin's help.

Forewarned that Robin Hood and Maid Marian will visit Nottingham Fair to buy new supplies of Lincoln Green cloth, the Sheriff stations his men-at-arms in the town square - but a tailor's scissors provide Robin with an unusual escape route.

Women's War

After she has been rescued from the Sheriff's men, Robin agrees to allow two of his men to escort Ann de Brisac, a noblewoman, to a place where she claims to have hidden gold: after their departure. Marian arrives with news that the woman is a spy.

Little Mother

Seeing an elderly woman being abused by two of the Sheriff's men-at-arms. Marian and Little John intervene: to his surprise, Robin's second-in-command discovered that the woman is his mother.

Marian's Prize

Robin's name has been entered for an archery contest. The problem is, he's away visiting friends. Can Marian, selected in his absence, fool the Sheriff and win the shooting tournament?

Episode 39

Farewell to Tuck.

When the Archbishop of visits Nottingham, the Sheriff see a way of depleting Robin's band by one; he'll get rid of the troublesome Friar Tuck once and for all. As usual, the outlaws have the last laugh.

Not an episode of the series but a documentary or clip show first shown in 2014. It features both Little Johns and both Maid Marians plus the rest of the lead cast.
