Now living in Sydney, Sarah dreams of her mum Kate's soda bread and vegetable soup. Upon visiting Lusk, Catherine learns Kate's secret recipes before travelling to Sydney where she will share the memorable tastes from home with Sarah.

After learning the secret behind Nikki's savory recipe for pork stuffed with prunes, Catherine travels from Wicklow to Gran Canaria where she prepares the much-adored dish for Nikki's sister, Jill, and explores the rugged Canary Islands.

Betty and Lorcan's daughter Colleen moved to Cyprus but some of her taste buds stayed behind in Castlebar. After becoming acquainted with Lorcan's recipe for honey-glazed ham, Catherine prepares the special dish for Colleen and her family.

Episode 6
Far from home in Melbourne, Eoin has a longing for his family's dish of Atlantic seafood in a coconut broth with basil and truffle mash and crisp green vegetables. After learning the preparation, Catherine delivers Peter a taste from home.
