Episode 1
Salesman Eddie McKenna "Ken Stott" takes a side-gig as a radio DJ at St Jude's Mental Hospital. With the help of manic depressive Campbell "David Tenant" and schizophrenic Fergus "Angus Macfayden" they resurrect the dilapidated radio station, bringing much needed life to the psychiatric hospital. Along the way he meets Nana; an old lady who seems to be speaking in tongues and dances randomly, Rosalie; an OCD woman whom Campbell recruits to clean the radio room, and Francine; a woman who at first seems normal until she puts a cigarette out on her arm.

Episode 2
The hospital radio station is in full swing, Eddie is in danger of losing his job, and soon to be discharged hypomanic Campbell plans to become a DJ.

Episode 3
Eddie and the gang pull out all the stops to save the radio station by staging a coup at the open day.

Episode 4
The possibility of a discharge means Fergus must find a job. The aftermath of the open day is felt by Campbell, Eddie, Francine and the hospital radio.

Episode 5
Buoyed by his accidental sales triumph at Twinview Windows, and with professional radio beckoning, Eddie's relationship with Francine starts to develop.

Episode 6
Jim is appalled by Rosalie's living conditions. Campbell's star is rising as the odds appear to be stacked against Eddie.
