Episode 1
Hee-Moon works to expand his wealthy father's restaurant business. His sister Hee-Ae subverts her parents attempts to marry her off so that she can train to become a chef. Hyo-Dong, the son of a restaurant owner, struggles to find work.
Episode 2
Si-Nae, a street vendor, is forced to flee from her creditors. Hee-Moon learns that his father's decision to open a new restaurant near a competitor is motivated by a grudge. Si-Nae and Hyo-Dong join the same cooking class as Hee-Ae.
Episode 3
Hyo-Dong's apprehension of a thief impresses both Hee-Ae and Si-Nae. Something Si-Nae blurts out while drunk about her first meeting with Hyo-Dong leaves Hee-Ae with the impression that Hyo-Dong and Si-Nae are a couple, much to his regret.
Episode 4
Hyo-Dong and Hee-Ae grow closer as he helps her develop a new recipe. Si-Nae's friends rescue her from thugs. Hyo-Dong helps Si-Nae find a job. Hyo-Dong's father learns that Hee-Moon is sabotaging his restaurant.
Episode 5
Hyo-Dong loses his job as a bodyguard after leaving his post to chase a thief. Hyo-Dong learns that his father adopted him after Hyo-Dong was abandoned in his father's restaurant. Si-Nae's love for Hyo-Dong is not reciprocated.
Episode 6
Hyo-Dong travels to Hong Kong to see Hee-Ae. While he is in Hong Kong, Hyo-Dong asks the chef who taught his father how to cook about his father's life. Si-Nae asks Hyo-Dong's father to help her prepare for her chef's exam.
Episode 7
Si-Nae learns that Hyo-Dong and Hee-Ae are a couple. Hyo-Dong learns that Hee-Ae's father is the man who ruined his father's life, causing the couple to split. Hyo-Dong decides to cook for his father's restaurant. Si-Nae takes ill.
Episode 8
Hyo-Dong assembles a team to run the restaurant, which includes Si-Nae. They prepare for a national restaurant competition conceived by Hee-Moon. Hyo-Dong and Si-Nae begin to bond. Hee-Ae and Hyo-Dong miss each other.
Episode 9
Hyo-Dong's restaurant qualifies for the national competition with the secret assistance of Hee-Ae. Si-Nae refuses a gift from Hee-Moon. Hee-Moon intervenes to stop the chef at the Golden Dragon from sabotaging Hyo-Dong's restaurant.
Episode 10
Hyo-Dong is oblivious to Si-Nae's love for him. She learns that he loves Hee-Ae. Si-Nae accidentally discloses to Hee-Moon what Hyo-Dong plans to cook in the next round of the competition. Hyo-Dong has to improvise when the rules change.
Episode 11
Hyo-Dong and Hee-Ae reconcile. Her family forbids the relationship. Hee-Moon hires a top-rated chef and spies on Hyo-Dong to find out what Hyo-Dong will be cooking for the competition. Hyo-Dong blames Si-Nae for betraying the restaurant.
Episode 12
Si-Nae leaves the restaurant. Hyo-Dong challenges the Golden Dragon to a high-stakes competition. Jang Tae-Kwang hires thugs to attack Hyo-Dong so that he will be unable to cook. Hyo-Dong searches for Si-Nae so that he can apologize.
Episode 13
After Hee-Ae witnesses Hyo-Dong confront her father about not keeping his promises, she runs away. Hyo-Dong proposes to her. Si-Nae's coworkers convince her to return to the restaurant. Si-Nae confesses to Hyo-Dong that she likes him.
Episode 14
After Hee-Ae sees Hyo-Dong hugging Si-Nae, Hyo-Dong's father falsely tells Hee-Ae's father that Hyo-Dong and Si-Nae are engaged. When Hee-Ae asks whether this is true, Si-Nae confirms the lie. Hee-Ae, feeling bitter, opts to study abroad.
Episode 15
Si-Nae confesses to Hyo-Dong that she lied to Hee-Ae by claiming to be engaged to Hyo-Dong. Si-Nae strikes out on her own. Hee-Ae decides to break up with Hyo-Dong, which causes his cooking to suffer. Thugs destroy Si-Nae's cooking stand.
Episode 16
Si-Nae and Hee-Moon try to get Hyo-Dong and Hee-Ae to reunite. When they do, their fathers object. Tae-Kwang falls ill when tax inspectors arrive. After Tae-Kwang realizes that Hyo-Dong has been cooking for him, the fathers reconcile.
