Lars is a 10-year-old boy from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is Canadian, Zimbabwean and Dutch and he is on his way to becoming a pro hockey player. He loves to catch waves on his surfboard and learn about his Zimbabwean culture by playing the Mbira.
Episode 2
Valexia is an 8-year-old girl from Montreal, Quebec. She is French-Canadian and Afro-Cuban and loves to model, sing, dance and act. She stays in touch with her Cuban roots by participating annually in the celebration of Hispanic Month.
Episode 3
Malik is a 10-year-old boy from Mississauga, Ontario. He is proud of his Nigerian heritage and loves sports, especially track and field. He takes us to a traditional Nigerian wedding where we learn about spraying and shows us how fast he can run in track and field.
Episode 4
Nyla is a 10-year-old girl who lives in Ottawa, Ontario. She is Canadian, Haitian, Trinidadian, and Jamaican and dreams of becoming Canada's first Black Prime Minister. She loves ju-jitsu, gymnastics, school and making traditional meals like Haitian Boulettes and Salade Rouge.
Episode 5
Jobim is an 11-year-old boy who lives in Cookstown, Ontario. He is an aspiring chef, an expert outdoorsman, and an advanced capoeirista. He'll introduce us to the Afro-Brazilian martial art of Capoeira, the joys of cooking, and his family tradition of storytelling.
Episode 6
Kara and Zara, 8-year-old twins from Halifax, Nova Scotia, bring a unique blend of Nigerian and Canadian heritage. Born in Nigeria, they moved to Canada and have developed a deep love for animals. In their quest to explore more about their new home, they embark on a visit to the Africville Museum and delve into the rich Black History of Nova Scotia. Kara and Zara celebrate the harmonious fusion of their Nigerian roots with the diverse Canadian tapestry, creating a beautiful blend of cultural appreciation and exploration.
Episode 7
Dayvid-Ray is a 9-year-old boy from Montreal, Quebec. He is Canadian and Haitian, loves basketball and boxing, and is exited to learn more about his Haitian roots. He learns the Haitian alphabet, learns some traditional Haitian dance moves, and shows us a thing or two about basketball.
Episode 8
Leah is an 8-year-old girl who lives in Orléans, Ottawa with her family. She is Canadian and Eritrean, loves science, soccer and her Eritrean traditions. She shows us a traditional coffee ceremony, her cool gamme hair style, and how to make a snow volcano.
Episode 9
Micah is a 10-year-old boy from Montreal, Quebec. He is Canadian, Jamaican and German, and super creative with his drumming, origami, and stop-motion skills. He takes us on a tour of greenhouse, to his robotics class, and shows us his origami skills.
Episode 10
Nicole is a 9-year-old girl who lives in Toronto, Ontario. Her family is from Burundi and Chile. She loves to sing and make music videos, and is training to get her black belt in Karate. She teaches us a traditional Burundian dance and shows us her impressive Karate skills.
Episode 11
Dante is an 11-year-old boy from Fergus, Ontario. He is a proud Canadian Ugandan who loves football, basketball, and doing flips on his Air Track. Dante teaches us some traditional Ugandan drumming and dance moves and how to play touch football with his friends.
Episode 12
Mahely is a 10-year-old girl who lives in Orléans, Ontario. She is Canadian, Dominican and Ivorian. She dances Bachata, Merengue, and Zoblazo, and makes tie-dye shirts. She loves cooking traditional dishes with her mom and learning Spanish with her Dad.
Episode 13
Emily is a 9-year-old girl from Findlay Creek, Ontario. She is a proud Ghanaian Canadian, an important member of her community and loves science experiments. She shows us her beautiful Kente cloth and dance moves and how to do the Bubble Vapor Science Experiment.
Episode 14
Owen is a 9-year-old boy from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. He is Canadian and Rwandan and loves soccer, cross country, and wants to follow a career in modeling and acting. Owen shares what it's like to be a Canadian Rwandan living in Quebec.
Episode 15
Lulu is an 8-year-old girl from Mississauga, Ontario. She is Brazilian Canadian, and loves to dance ballet and samba, and snowboard. Lulu teaches us about traditional Brazilian culture, like Carnival, Peteca, and chimarrão. She loves to share with us what it means to be an Afro-Brazilian Canadian.
Episode 16
Vance is a 10-year-old boy from Brampton, Ontario. He is Canadian, Jamaican, Indian, and African American. Vance loves hip hop, break dancing with his dad, and learning how to DJ. Vance has big dreams to become the first Black Prime Minister of Canada, and you won't believe who has some words of encouragement for him.
Episode 17
Layla is an 11-year-old girl from Chatham, Ontario. She is an 8th generation Black Canadian with a passion for basketball and ballet. Her family runs the Buxton Museum, which documents the history of the first Black settlers of the area, and she teaches us about her rich family history.
