The humans from Pink Diamond's zoo arrive in Beach City to visit Steven. They bring along with them the Rose Quartzes that were created by Steven's mother and resemble her. Steven, Greg and the Gems are uncomfortable around them due to their similarity to Steven's mother, but Steven doesn't have the heart to ask them to leave.

Just as he is about to leave, he finally confronts the three and they admit that they have been holding their emotions back so as not to dissuade him from leaving. Steven finally moves on, knowing they will always remain a part of his life.
