At the church, Early and his group "Jesus Makes Me Happy" are singing a song about the warning of what's to come when Early realizes that something is off. He realizes Rusty is playing the wrong note and destroys the guitar and walks off. Following that, Rusty is busy trying to practice when Satan (Yes, the same one Granny talks to.) offers to teach him lessons due to how terrible he is. Rusty agrees and gains a new form (with horns) and begins to show off. Singing "Another night on the road" while none of them can properly handle it; be it due to the amazing music or the insanity of what his powers can do. Deciding to try and find a way around it, Early ends up making a bet with the devil over Rusty's soul. (Reminds you of a song, doesn't it?) And after a heated battle between Satan and Early, Early manages to win. But rather than saving Rusty, Early makes it clear he only won because he sold his soul so he can " beat Rusty's ass " leaving everyone under the merciless tentacle of Satan, Reverend included. The episode ends with Rusty asking Early if he's afraid of the eternal damnation and whatnot, to which Early tells him to live in the moment and forget it, all the while spiders erupt from his head and crawl away.
