Episode 1
The Spring kids dream about a bright future, Evert even of leaving school for a professional singer-songwriter career. Pieter is late for rehearsals due to his new hobby, circuit car racing. Xavier has troubles with his petty father the kiosk owner and with Evert about the old amplifier, which doesn't do the trick at auditions. David isn't amused that his Tien is too dull and dense to study theory for her drivers exam properly while clueless.
Episode 2
Pieter duly reproaches Evert's constant bickering over manager Luc, who suddenly turns up with a solid plan for their idea of a third Spring anniversary concert. Evert plays a mean prank on and bickers endlessly with rival guitarist Xavier -whose father and guardian refuse to cough up any more cash or loan- over the use of the old amplifier, drops it and expects the repair costs to be shared. David is not amused that Katrijn refuses to cut any 'dance solo rehearsal' evening short to go to the movies together, even though that assignment hasn't even been set. Xavier duly scolds Tien's useless driver's exam preparation, so Pieter decides to coach her personally.
Episode 3
David is irritated to be neglected for her dance ambitions by girlfriend Katrijn to the point of absentmindedness on the cop job. Everything changes when Roger must report the club owner Maggy was killed by a drunk driver. Xavier splits all nights without contacting anything to drink his troubles away and acts though. Evert looses his drive and inspiration, even questions if the Spring anniversary concert should go on, but the others insist she would have wanted all the kids to keep pursuing their dreams.
Episode 4
Tien neglects David -who sighs to Roger- and bitches at everyone, having left studying for a drivers' exam too late. Xavier is elated to receive the cash Maggy saved for his future, but appalls his father by deciding to spend it on a world tour, and worse, needing more gamble on scratch tickets. Pieter hopes to work out his frustration on the race track, but must be warned he takes excessive risks. Evert annoys everyone about the anniversary concert and his unfinished tribute to Maggie.
Episode 5
Xavier spent a small fortune on a new guitar and amplifier. David has got a grip on his emotions in dealing with drunk drivers, to Roger's relief. Xavier's pa insists he writes the funeral eulogy, but the uninspired grieving knave needs help. Pieter manages to make Katrijn realize self-indulgent resigning over Maggie's death is absurd, but the canceled video job may be gone.
Episode 6
Xavier's only consolation is his brand new amplifier, which he refuses to share with Evert. He finally manages to write a personal eulogy, which his father deems impressive, but looses it and his to improvise, which he still pulls off. Spring's tribute song is of hit-quality according to manager Luc, who promises to promote it big-time.
Episode 7
Xavier finally passed on audition and joins a heavy rock band, which even has already recorded. Spring's manager also wants to record the anniversary tribute song, but everybody keeps disturbing them and Evert's virtual commandeering of Xavier's amplifier lead to a smug refusal, and Pieter isn't amused to find his guitarist who never has a good word for Xavier helped himself to instrument and amplifier, yet plays his 'authority' as Xavier's father asked him to mind the knave now his elder sibling isn't there anymore to make them 'stop the childish nonsense"'.
Episode 8
Xavier may be proud as a peacock as heavy metal band Black Slash's new guitarist, awaiting his tattoo, except for Pieter the Spring gang meanly bags at him, especially jealous Evert, who even exhausts his mates' patience wining about excessive rehearsals. Xavier turns uncharacteristically shy when he notices foxy Roxanne, whom he assures his father being the love of his life. Luckily, she likes his leather outfit and is a fan of the well-established band.
Episode 9
Xavier is getting frightened about the tattoo he is supposed to get for his new band Black Slash when told how painful it is, and when Roxanne says she disapproves of such disfiguring, reconsiders. Pieter poses he's better off having chickened out after Xavier resigned from the rock band on account of their costly tradition to smash the guitar after every concert.
Episode 10
Xavier hides in the bar for Black Slash's bully band leader Detlev, fearing to be beaten up for leaving, but after Pieter intervenes, it becomes clear he's only due to return the cool black leather rocker outfit. David can't attend his girl's dance routine video recording session, but it turns out Roxanne is very grateful when Xavier turns up when she has to save the girls' bacon by filling in for a sick chorus girl.
Episode 11
David had Pieter's gang organize a surprise party to celebrate if the dance video recording went well, but fears it didn't as they hear nothing. In fact it was fine, and during the cheerful party Xavier is pleasantly surprised that Roxanne doesn't mind he left Black Slash, even gets openly on kissing terms. Hearing she misses her Thai foster sister, he offers to take her on his 'world trip' there once he wins enough at scratch lottery, but she feels the inheritance is better spent on a sure thing. Manager Luc duly dismisses Evert's megalomaniac 'ideas' for the anniversary concert. A notary arrives as killjoy: Maggie's debts require the club to be sold.
Episode 12
Xavier insists with his plan to blows his last inheritance cash on a Thailand trip with Roxanne he can't even finance. Even Pieter flips out when banned dealer Arne wants to return to Spring. Only Tien wants to give him a 'second chance', while blaming her driving instructor for her own endless failures and commandeers. David as new instructor.
Episode 13
Xavier has a hard time showing dance instructors around the place they light by, so Pieter helps out, keeping them clear of Chantal's rusty, bitching mother Marie-France, who does poorly. Nobody is eager to welcome former dealer Arne who presents himself as the neighborhood's trouble youth-specialized social worker, but at second thought Xavier, Roxanne and Pieter consider granting him the benefit of the doubt of actually being reformed a she claims. Luc proudly tells a London contact might be interested in an English version of Spring music.
Episode 14
Xavier still promises Roxannne a Thailand trips and is jealous when she admires -like all girls- the firm backside of dance instructor Erik, who needs to be shown the place. Davis worries as Katrijn gets suspiciously easy with her ex Arne, despite initially refusing any contact. Transporting the instruments proves problematic, the cops even incur a ticket from a colleague.
Episode 15
Hot Erik agreed to dine with elated Marie France, but rival dance school buyer Pia, Maggie's respected rival, is more t the liking of Xavier and the girls. Arne's return keeps dividing people, as Evert remains viciously hostile remembering how he was locked-in till he fainted, Xavier taking his ex-former mate's defense and David granting him a second chance for Katrijn's sake. Pieter frees David's time by becoming Tien's new driving instructor, but even the model son won't suffer being Roger's first aid victim. Tien blew all her savings 'for a dream ride' on a rust bucket on wheels that won't start a second time, yet Pieter agrees it's Spring's only shot at a 'tour bus'. Xavier finally wins a fortune scratching and Roxanne stops him from making that public.
Episode 16
All Spring welcomes Arne's offer to help out, except Evert, who says 'him or me', yet agrees to a 'second chance' for Katrijn's sake. The public auction starts, despite endless interruption, and the girls applaud studly Erik taking the lead, until they her he's no dance instructor but wants to develop the real estate, like other candidates.
Episode 17
Xavier is not amused that Roxanne plans to spend all his winnings, regardless what he actually wants. David has mixed feelings about the spa 'treat' he and Katrijn got as 'date anniversary' present from their friends, Roger isn't ready to spoil his wife in such miserable way and for no reason at all. Arne gains even Evert's confidence with generosity, but is overheard ordering 'stuff'. Marie having outbid Erik, people ponder how to deal with the new owner, she even gets a surprise party, but has businesslike remodeling plans for the place as photo shop. The 'Spring-mobile' is ready but Tien isn't allowed to drive it during her learning period.
Episode 18
Manager Luc triumphantly announces a deal to sell all Spring's song rights to London for a small fortune. Pieter doubts Arne again after overhearing another call about 'stuff' while buying scratch tickets for cash, the band mates argue how to handle it, but his arrest at delivery proves his noble innocence. Xavier puts greedy Roxanne to a test she fails.
Episode 19
The cops are embarrassed but relieved that Arne Nuydens is a street youth benefactor, no dealer, the Spring boys determined to make up properly, so Pieter offers a friendly basketball match, which they enjoy losing against Arne's street kids team. Xavier and the girls sort of resign to the dance school being closed, but a higher offer is still possible the next three days, so Arlette dreams of a partner for Pia. Xavier hopes his winnings may help but Roxanne is eager to spend the cash in Thailand and furious when Xavier agrees to become the partner.
Episode 20
To the band's horror, manager Luc called from London to cancel the anniversary concert, next the radio plays an English version of their song by a British band, only Arne stops Pieter and Evert blaming each-other. The notary awards the higher offer from Pia and Xavier, who made up with Roxanne.
Episode 21
Pieter is elated to be asked, after a circuit record, as test pilot, but as Evert feared that would mean a whole year away from home and the band. Minority partner Xavier sort of settles for Pia being bossy provided she does all the work, which grows over her head, and Marie France offers to take over the business side. Roger was badly prepared for his police first aid exam yet passes, David prepared well but fails, being absentminded due to the Spring debacle. .
Episode 22
Pieter isn't amused that most Spring members and his girl Tien expect him to dump his only go at test pilot and probably racing for them, Xavier and David advise following his own heart. Finally everybody agrees, even if his wold tour starts in Australia, but he promises the band a new bass player. Xavier's lengthy speech for the dance school's reopening is a hit, Pia surprises everyone by announcing Arlette will be the business manager.
Episode 23
Xavier is not amused that bossy Pia expects him to do all bar duties now Pieter leaves, but Arne volunteers to do paid shifts, yet gets robbed by her on the tariff they agreed. Pieter gets gay mate painter Johan 'Jo' De Klein to replace him as even better bass player, whose acoustic ideas are blocked by Evert, but he may not have as much time to rehearse. Having go stuck during a criminal chase, Roger must lose weight and takes it out on David while applying for desk duty.
Episode 24
Jo impresses the band so much they are greatly relieved when his pa, ambassador in India, gives permission. Xavier composes a song for Roxanne, but wrestles with the lyrics and is not amused that Pieter's leaving dumps all bar work on him. Jo and Arne inspire the gang to give Pieter a surprise send-off party and gifts, including a tribute song which Jo plans to write.
Episode 25
The gang and Arne continue preparing for Pieter's surprise send-off party and collects for the surprise gift. Jo finished the tribute lyrics but can't come, nor Arne. Roger suffers under diet and a home-trainer.
Episode 26
The gang buries Pieter with excuses not to spend time on his last day, to keep the racing-theme party a surprise, while Xavier can't find help with his lyrics for Roxanne. It's a success, even Jo's cheesy rap cover tribute song, and the goodbye present: a Spring-decorated racing helmet. Everybody must prepare fro the future, with only Evert left from the original band members.
Episode 27
Pieter has barely git time as traveling test pilot to call home, let alone miss the gang like he is missed, but Jo is the perfect successor in the band, recommending Spring and his former band's manager Marc Verbiest to each-other. Xavier assures his Roxanne will be the revelation in the dance school to the reality director, who starts recording with his own cameramen and two cameras he hands out to the rivaling girls themselves. Xavier starts feeling ignored by Roxanne, whom he treats to an expensive outfit, and Marc, who is only interested in a solo career for Evert.
Episode 28
Xavier is not amused that Pia and Arlette grill him about a petty cash advance he gave himself informally. Arne tells Evert, who confides about Marc's solo career offer, he would chose his friends over ambition.David 'helps' Roger sticking to his diet.
Episode 29
David was dumb enough to drive his girl illegally by police car and nervously runs over a bicycle. Time is running out for Evert to accept a solo career managed by Marc or stay in Spring but can't chose, so Marc tells Jo he's going solo, which seems true as he accepted a cash advance. Scolding him sold-out may seal the deal, but Xavier proposes to take his place and Jo accept to test his song for Roxanne. Overweight Roger again failed to catch a runaway thief.
Episode 30
Xavier's first Spring rehearsal is his last, as he's too demanding on the others, who fear that's the end of the band. Manager Marc eagerly rents the 'split' band's rehearsal room for Evert's solo career, but he's down alone and blamed by his ex-mates. Yet David and Jo wish him the best, which suffices to make him turn down to solo career. The busted tail-light lands David and fat Roger on bike patrol for weeks.
Episode 31
The TV crew finds the band excited to become subject of another documentary, only Roxanne fears it will distract from her dancing. Roger is embarrassed when his bike cop uniform picture is sent to son Pieter in Australia, David because even seniors passed them on patrol. The next morning, all Spring's instruments have been stolen, an inside job. Xavier is deeply insulted to be shortly suspected, but Tien going on it's convenient for Evert to start a solo career anyhow, which Jo and David call absurd, drives him to call fellow suspect Marc.
Episode 32
David and even Roger appreciate first aid and patrolling on bike when it allows them to save Xavier's father from choking by Heimlich. Arne and others try to fin out who stole Spring's instruments but hiding it from the public, especially the TV crew. Evert even called Marc, who is not amused he's a suspect, not asked as manager. David borrowed a real police lie detector, which test all band members pass. Xavier is shocked when Roxanne confide in him, the only one using the heating shed, she hid the instruments there and can't convince her to put them back.
Episode 33
Xavier is duly insulted when Evert demands he takes the lie detector test too, but to cover up for Roxanne passes it. While David stalls the TV crew recording the next Spring rehearsal, Xavier sneakily returns the instruments from the heating room. Roxanne plays her rivals against each-other by lies and manipulation, but the truth catches up.
Episode 34
Although Xavier 'found' and returned the instruments, Evert meanly bluffs with the police to force him to betray Roxanne. Her dirty tricks to stir discord among her dance rivals are also found out as those make up. She absurdly blames and dumps 'yellow' Xavier but finds herself forced to eat humble pie.
Episode 35
Jo's apartment lease is about to run out, so he must searching for another and meanwhile move into the Spring minivan. Xavier and Roxanne make up after she cools down, having been promised a second chance as dancer. Thieving manager Luc is back, but Xavier warns him the Spring boys won't talk to him, so he offers Xavier a contract with cash advance for a peek at Evert's latest material.
Episode 36
Luc is surprised when Xavier waves the promised cash, stunned when it's a trap to prove him a copyright thief and he gets arrested by David, who duly shares credit with trap brain Xavier. Jo spend his first night in the minivan fairly comfortably and has no problem cleaning up in the club and walking around in his underwear.
Episode 37
Xavier is relieved when his objection inspire Pia not to rename the dance school but only the ballet section, and after his sibling 'Maggie's Place'. Jo, who met cop Roger in his boxers, designs the new logo. Four days before the anniversary concert, the band realizes they didn't book a venue, only Arne suggests a municipal facility. Pieter assures his parents by e-mail that Jo is perfectly reliable and agrees to invite him to move into his room.
Episode 38
Jo happily brought his 'pet' tarantula Marie into the mini-van. Xavier enjoys the ballet room dedication to his sibling with reception, although cheated out a locker-room access bonus. Having found no new apartment, Jo gratefully accepts the invitation to move into Peter's room, but Roger worries about any teenager disrupting his home.
Episode 39
On anniversary concert day, things keep going wrong. The minivan breaks down, so Jo and Tien arrive late, a cable is missing, the kids bicker, without publicity almost nobody seems to turn up. Yet it works out, complete with Pieter's surprise visit from Pieter, who takes Jo's place for once. Xavier didn't plan to attend, but Roxanne drags him along, as he's the surprise guest premiering his song dedicated to her.
