JJ and his family move to a new home to be in a school district where JJ will have a full-time aide to "speak" for him. The aide is a female who ends up annoying JJ and continually wanting to quit because they just don't get along. JJ's mom complains to the principal of the new school about the lack of a wheelchair ramp at the front of the school, and seems to have a reputation for advocating for her son throughout the area. JJ is nominated for president at his new school and is initially reluctant, but then after some consideration decides to run for the position after all.
