Weeds, Wild Hogs and More Short Cuts

This past Friday at 4:20 pm (ha!), FanLib.com launched an official contest inviting Weeds fans to imagine their own resolution to the Season 2 finale. (Good luck, but you won't come close to how the Aug. 13 season opener actually plays out. Unless you've either seen it or pen your entry while gobsmacked by some Acapulco gold.) Go here for deets.... The year's No. 1 comedy, Wild Hogs, roars onto DVD Aug. 14.... Maurice "Maury" Hill, the last surviving cast member (as Captain Hayward) and a writer of Space Patrol, died on July 12 of heart complications. He was 89.
