Episode 1
Black Widower

After Jax tracks down Tara, she's shocked when he asks her to save the boys, telling her she's free to take them wherever she wants. He and Tara then offer Patterson a new deal; if all charges against Tara are dropped, he will give himself up as the sole source of the gun used in the school shooting. Anticipating spending at least seven years in jail, Jax makes Bobby president, and tells Chibs to help Tara in any way she requires when he is inside. However, unaware of Jax's decision, Gemma, distraught after Nero breaks up with her, kills Tara. When Roosevelt arrives on the scene, Juice shoots him, and helps cover up Gemma's involvement. In Oakland, the Mayans kill several 9ers and form an alliance with Lin, supported by the Byz-Lats. In prison, Jax tries to make peace with high-ranking Aryan Brotherhood shot-caller Ron Tully (Marilyn Manson). When Patterson releases him, she warns him against seeking revenge for Tara's death. Meanwhile, Wendy comes out of rehab early and discovers Juice has been crashing in her apartment to hide from SAMCRO, the Mayans open a new chapter in Stockton, CaraCara reopens as Red Woody Inc., Jax suggests that he handle Diosa Norte and Nero focus on Diosa del Sur so as to avoid conflict given Nero's ties to Lin and Álvarez, Patterson asks Unser for a favour, and Jax, Nero, Álvarez, and Lin sit down to try to avoid a costly turf war.

Gemma and Nero get back together. Unser encounters Juice in Wendy's and offers to help him get out of Charming. In helping out TO in Lodi, SAMCRO accidentally kill two pastors from a powerful Piedmont church. Gemma fingers one of Lin's men as someone she saw leaving Tara's on the day of the murder, with Jax later torturing and killing him. As Lt. Althea Jarry (Annabeth Gish) takes over in the San Joaquin Sherriff's Office and is placed in charge of Tara and Roosevelt's murder investigations, Unser decides to grant Patterson's request to work as a part-time investigator. To ostensibly keep the peace, Jax offers to help the president of the Mayans' Stockton charter, Oscar El Oso Ramos (Ivo Nandi), deal with Barosky and to help Lin get some business from Connor. Secretly, however, he asks Connor to get him information on who Lin's customers are. Marks tells Jax that if he finds out who killed Tara, his vengeance can't land on the street as, given current tensions, it could ignite a costly war. Jax ignores him, however, and enlists the help of SAMIND to disrupt a Triad gun-for-heroin sale, explaining to Jury that his plan is to destroy all of Lin's business relationships, and when Lin turns to SAMCRO for help, Jax will kill everyone he loves in front of him, and then torture him to death.

Lin immediately suspects that SAMCRO were the ones who stormed his gun sale, but in anticipation of this, Jax, Chibs, and Bobby have already killed two locals hired by Jury and so finger them as responsible. However, Jury recognises a shotgun used in the murder, and so knows Jax is behind the deaths. Marks begins to suspect that Jax is lying to him and warns him never to cross him. When Jax asks Yost where the 9ers would stand if SAMCRO and Marks were to clash, Yost says he'll stand with SAMCRO, but only if they agree to take care of with an internal power struggle threatening his leadership. Meanwhile, Nero relocates to Diosa del Sur; Red Woody's first production begins, with Lyla directing; Juice asks Unser for a favour; Rat and Brooke hook up; and Unser advises Jarry to look into Lin in relation to Tara's death.

Poor Little Lambs

With Unser's help, Juice reaches out to Chibs, but is told he's out of SAMCRO and there's no way back in, and so Unser and Wendy stash him in an out-of-town motel. SAMCRO hit a series of brothels owned by Lin. Jax reaches out to Tully for help selling the heroin taken from Lin's gun sale. However, when they meet Tully's man on the outside, Leland Gruen (Brad Carter) the meeting is interrupted by the police. Patterson issues an APB for Juice. Jax learns that Marks is in the final stages of negotiating a huge real estate deal in Piedmont, but the owner of the land has gone missing - one of the pastors killed by SAMCRO when helping out TO in Lodi, and so Yost asks SAMCRO to try to find the pastor's wife, Loutreesha Haddem (April Grace), who has power of attorney and can sign in her husband's absence.

Some Strange Eruption

Tig and Venus hook up. Eglee is badly injured during the shootout with Gruen's men, but she survives, albeit in a coma, although her partner isn't so lucky. Jarry suspects SAMCRO's involvement, but as she's talking to them, an Asian throws a grenade into their clubhouse. Shortly thereafter, Lin's men storm the warehouse where SAMCRO are storing the weapons they stole from Lin, killing West and then attacking Diosa Norte, wiping out the entire staff, including Colette, who was there helping with the books. Realising that someone has sold them out to Lin, SAMCRO make finding the rat their top priority, but Jarry warns Jax that with all the bodies dropping in Charming, unless he cooperate with the investigation, the Feds will crush SAMCRO. Meanwhile, Chibs and Jarry get together; Jarry tells Unser he needs to choose which side he's on; Lin demands that Nero deliver Jax or he will kill Nero's son; Gemma and Unser arrive to get Juice out of Charming only to find something unexpected at the motel; Jax tells Nero that Lin was behind Tara's death.

Gemma ends up at a diner where she engages into a conversation with a waitress, Gertie. Nero is in trouble with the Mayans. SAMCRO want to hire new girls and rebuild their business. Juice robs a local store and goes to Alvarez, hoping he'll get him out of the US to Mexico. But Alvarez has other plans.

Eglee regains consciousness and asks to speak to Unser, telling him that SAMCRO was there when she was shot, but promising she won't tell anyone else. Juice asks Álvarez to help him get into Mexico, and in return offers the Mayans intel on SAMCRO. Álvarez, however, immediately calls Jax, and the two work out a deal - to smooth things over with the AB, Jax asks Álvarez to give up some of his narcotics prison trade, and to cover any loses, the Mayans can have half of Lin's territory, with the other half going to the 9ers. Jax also says that if Álvarez helps him and the 9ers take out Marks, he'll contact the Kings and recommend they work with the Mayans. Álvarez agrees and hands Juice over. Wendy becomes concerned for Abel, who's becoming increasingly sullen and withdrawn. On Jax's orders, Juice shoots the tires out on some police motorbikes and is arrested, with Jax planning to use him to kill Lin in lockup. Nero tells Gemma he wants to sell his piece of Diosa and purchase his uncle's farm, asking her to join him. SAMCRO tell Loutreesha that Marks killed her husband, and offer to help her detox from her drug addiction. In return, they ask her and her son, Grant McQueen (Arjay Smith), for a favour. However, when SAMCRO try to blackmail Marks, things go disastrously wrong.

The Separation of Crows

Gemma confesses to Thomas that she killed Tara, but is unaware that Abel overhears her. Nero offers Álvarez his stake in Diosa. Marks and his new head-of-security, Moses Cartwright (Mathew St. Patrick) abduct and torture Bobby, gouging out one of his eyes, and sending it to SAMCRO. Yost tells Jax that Cartwright and his team are former black-ops, and that Marks wants Loutreesha and Grant, and for every 24 hours he's kept waiting, he will send SAMCRO another of Bobby's body parts. Abel is sent home from school after hitting another child with a metal lunchbox. SAMCRO learn that one of the locals they killed after hitting Lin's gun sale was Jury's illegitimate son, leading Jax to conclude that Jury must have been the one who ratted them out to Lin. When Juice offers to give Jarry the name of Tara and Roosevelt's killer in return for being placed in ADSEG, Unser guesses that SAMCRO plan to use him to kill Lin, and also realises that something isn't sitting right regarding Juice's information.

Jax kills Jury and then lies to Gaines (Tony Curran, SAMIND's VP, claiming that Jury admitted to ratting out SAMCRO to Lin. Cartwright cuts off Bobby's fingers and sends them to SAMCRO. Someone kills Gemma's birds and stabs a knife into Abel and Thomas's bedroom wall. Marks and Cartwright agree to meet with SAMCRO and Marks promises that he has no intention of killing Loutreesha or Grant, but he needs to talk to Grant to ensure they understand the importance of their silence. SAMIND come to Charming looking for answers, with Gaines saying that Packer is chairing a forum to look into Jax's actions, and Chibs suggests that Tully get a phone to Juice so he can record Lin confirming that Jury was the rat. Jarry learns that the man Juice and Gemma have pinned Tara's murder on was actually in lock-up in Vegas the night of the murder.

Faith and Despondency

Marks returns Bobby to SAMCRO, but kills him during the handover as punishment for Jax crossing him. Jax responds by using Loutreesha and Grant to frame Marks for the murder of the pastor. Jarry has Juice moved from ADSEG to solitary so as to cut him off from Lin. Tig and Venus spend their first night together, realising the depth of their feelings for one-another. Nero tells Jax he's planning to sell his share of Diosa to Álvarez. Cartwright orders Yost to find out where SAMCRO are hiding Loutreesha and Grant so he can kill them before they testify against Marks, and Yost tells him that TO might know, leading to Cartwright snatching TO and Rat. Tully replaces Gruen as his number two, and asks SAMCRO to help ease in the transition for those loyal to Gruen, only to learn that Gruen is planning to kill Eglee. Abel cuts his own arm with a fork, and child services are called to the school when he blames Gemma.

Suits of Woe

Unser kills Gruen at St. Thomas when he arrives to kill Eglee. TO reveals where SAMCRO are hiding Loutreesha and Grant, but the whole thing is a set-up to lure Cartwright out. The location TO gave was an AB safe-house, and Cartwright and his team are wiped out in the subsequent shootout. Wendy, Abel, and Thomas move from Gemma's to Jax's, and Gemma decides to temporarily move to Nero's farm with him. Jax tells Abel that Wendy gave birth to him, and Abel reveals to Jax that Gemma killed Tara. Wendy tells Jax that Gemma and Unser were helping Juice hide from SAMCRO, and Unser tells him the man Juice and Gemma fingered for Tara's murder was in a Vegas lockup the night she was killed. Lin reveals who ratted SAMCRO out. SAMCRO learn the forum looking into Jury's death didn't go well for Jax. Álvarez buys Nero's stake in Diosa.

Red Rose

Lin reveals to Juice that it was Barosky who told the Triad the location of the guns. Juice then stabs him to death. Juice later confesses everything to Jax, telling him that Gemma killed Tara and he helped her cover it up. When Gemma finds out, she skips town. Juice later learns SAMCRO have given Tully the go-ahead to kill him. Jax pitches the Mayans to Connor, and although Connor says he'll take it to Roarke, he isn't optimistic about the Kings accepting the deal. Jax comes clean to Packer and Gaines that he lied about Jury's confession, meaning SAMCRO must take a Mayhem vote. Gemma heads to visit Nate in his retirement home in Oregon. When Roarke discovers that Connor has been selling guns on the side and pocketing the profits, he tasks SAMCRO with finding and killing him, and in return, he'll agree to work with the Mayans.
Episode 13
Papa's Goods

In prison, Tully kills Juice, and in Oakland and Stockton, SAMCRO and the 9ers wipe out the remainder of Lin's crew. Meanwhile, Unser heads to Oregon to find Gemma, but Jax arrives soon thereafter, and when Unser attempts to intervene, Jax kills him. Jax then shoots and kills Gemma herself. Returning to Charming, Jax hooks up with Wendy, and tells SAMCRO they must vote for Mayhem. Meanwhile, TO is patched into SAMCRO; as Wendy and Nero prepare to take Abel and Thomas to the farm, Nero tries to find out what happened in Oregon; the Mayans and the 9ers split up Lin's territory; Marks is released on parole; Connor arranges to meet with Yost, unaware that SAMCRO are waiting for him; Jax contacts Patterson and takes steps to get Abel and Thomas free from SAMCRO.
