While being instructed to investigate some transnational crime, OCTB officers Hui Chun-sum (Ruco Chan) and Shum Wai-lik (Ben Wong) find out Ngai Chi-lok (Cheung Wing Hong), who was the culprit behind the Tiger Cull case, sent some secret message to the dark web before he was apprehended. He also made a transfer of a substantial amount in cryptocurrency. And soon some mysterious person plots to launch a terrorist attack. Although Chun-sum and Wai-lik solve the case with the help of the talented Prof Tong Kwun-fung (Alex Fong), but they are shocked to realize there is some more evil conspiracy hidden behind Chi-lok. While they just have to foil Chi-lok's scheme, they also have to deal with strange cases such as dragon head rod crisis, white bones in empty space and hardened criminal jailbreak. And are they able to clear away obstacles? While crisis escalates in the workplace, there are also challenging love issues. Chun-sum hopes to be reunited with his ex-girlfriend Ma Wing-sze (Lam Ha Mei). However, the couple's relationship is kind of iffy as they have deal with so many problems.
