Episode 1
Sergeant Cork receives a warning from Biddy that a group of Fenians are plotting activity in the area, unfortunately Biddy isn't a reliable witness.

Episode 2
A Salvation Army Major is attacked in The Salvation Army home and two troubled young girls vanish. Sergeant Cork is ill in bed, Marriott has to step up.

Episode 3
Valuable diamonds are stolen from the dysfunctional Ormsby family one night. The idea that any of the family or guests could have taken them is absurd.

Episode 4
Fourteen year old Alan Fowler has been sentenced to death for the murder of his School Master, the Judge that sentenced him, Lord Justice Palmer receives death threats.
Episode 5
Superintendent Rodway has taken charge of CID, Cork is moved to a new office, the current case sees him investigate the robbery of The Bristol Mail train.
Episode 6
An inept bank break-in attempt has been pulled off by an associate of a suffragette, and she's brought in to answer for it, but further all-female robberies occur afterward. Is she responsible for a crime wave?

Episode 7
Cork and Marriott are called in to help with a six month old crime in the Midlands, upon arrival the local Inspector tells Cork that he has his man, Earnshaw, on the train home Cork meets the wife of Marriott, who raises doubts.

Episode 8
Sergeant Cork is called in to solve a medical case, young Surgeon Doctor Briscoe operates on a young woman without authority, who later dies, his superior believes it's a criminal matter.
