Brothers and Sisters

Fri, Aug 27, 202164 mins

Baba explains to Kofun and the women that the general Edo Voss is his brother, whom he left swearing never to return after a fight over their father's death. Baba now tells them to wait seven days for his return, otherwise assume him perished and flee, as he must intrude the city and take on its formidable commander-general. That seems to go surprisingly well, with the help of an old friend there, but he's betrayed and chained in a dungeon exposed to vindictive Edo's merciless whip. Meanwhile Haniwa, whom he attempts to liberate, is chained to her bed, but works out her female guard is hiding not to be blind. Maghra has accepted to become the queen's high counsel, and to murder Tamacti Jun, pretending he committed suicide, to avoid being exposed by him and stirring an armed rebellion. They ride to Lord Harlan's fortified city, which they declare the new capital after practically confiscating his home as new royal palace, yet unlike his blunt brother he's patient enough to play nice and bide his time.
