Episode 1

Velkommen hjem

Mrs. Frigh is now chair of the tobacco factory, and has grand plans for her now grown son Leslie. But she has not taken in account the new maid to the hotel, Nana. Amanda struggles to keep her ad agency afloat, while Mr. Weyse tries to forget an unfortunate incident onstage last year. Merchant Madsen has his hopes up for a building project in Nazi Germany.

Episode 2

En lykkelig barndom

Leslie is taken with the maid Nana, who rescued him from drowning, and he suggests a secret date, while Weyse is ordered back to childhood by the psychologist, who is ought to cure his stage fright. Amanda receives visit by Count Ditmar and Philip, who not only bring good news. On the other hand, Mrs. Andersen returns from England with a surprising offer for Edith. Mrs. Fjeldsø learns alarming news about her daughter-in-law's brother, the Austrian Jew Robert, who was rejected at the Danish border.

When Mrs. Fjeldsø's relative, the Austrian Jew Robert, escapes from a German concentration camp, it brings reverberations all the way to the small hotel, where Madsen at the same time is having a meeting with a German gentleman, who will help the merchant to the inside of the national socialist rulers. On the other hand, the royal actor Mr. Weyse is more concerned about today's meeting with the psychologist who has planned hypnosis to help Weyse out of his stage fright. Leslie discovers a new side of the maid Nana, and Amanda meets unexpected comfort after her break-up with Max.

Episode 4

Nye planer

Merchant Madsen is close to the goal of his dreams - to be allowed to build in Germany, but what will happen if the Nazis find out that his youngest daughter helps hiding the illegal Jewish refugee, Robert? Meanwhile, Amanda faces a difficult choice: Either she has to invest the entire finances of her small advertising agency or give up the opportunity to produce the big tourist movie. Differently life looks more favourable to the royal actor Weyse, who finally gets rid of his stage fright, but only for going on a big adventure he cannot overcome.

Episode 5

Soldaten

After being on an adventure for some days feeling young Weyse returns to the comfortable setting of the hotel. But it will soon turn out that the actor's afflictions only have just begun. In turn Madsen is in high spirits, when he obtains the Nazis' approval to build in Germany. But his joy only lasts until he is faced with an irritated question of conscience. Finally, it becomes the hour of truth for Vera and her relationship with Robert. Nana gets a visit from home that turns everything upside down.

Episode 6

En ny begyndelse

Courageously Weyse is back from the hospital but has to go deep finding a bad excuse when his wife shows up at the hotel and asks for his missing wedding ring. Nor does Madsen have the easiest time on earth if he should both keep his marriage bond intact and land the agreement with Germany. There are many threads that need to be sorted out in this last section of the season. Vera realizes that it requires extra ingenuity if Robert has to come safely to Sweden. And finally, Amanda finds her way to a new beginning.
