Cassie confronts Sam about his past, angry that he wasn't candid with her sooner. Peyton plots to make Nick jealous by sending herself a bunch of flowers. When Eleanor is revealed to be the newspaper's new owner, Lane is shocked, and Eleanor promptly fires her. Veronica has fled to Barbados, where Edward intercepts her, and things quickly turn passionate. Sam worries for Cassie's safety while an old foe plots revenge on Sam. Nick proposes to Peyton, wanting a double wedding with Reese and Tom.

Reese (Shannon Sturges) gets her revenge during a double wedding while Veronica helps get rid of one of the nearly-wed grooms. Sam saves Cassie's life; Lane and Dean head back to the altar, and Peyton vows revenge against Reese.
