In this premiere episode, the nervous energy is palpable as 12 brand new queens enter the werk room to meet their fellow competitors and judge supremo, RuPaul, for the very first time. In their very first challenge, Ru has an extra-special challenge in store for the queens. In a Drag Race UK first, the queens display show-stopping looks as they attend the biggest night in fashion - the star-studded Brit Gala.

RuPaul's search for the UK's Next Drag Race Superstar continues in epic style. For their first challenge, the queens channel the spirit of Claudia Winkleman as they play their very own version of The Traitors. Next, they take on one of Drag Race's toughest challenges - the Design Challenge - but, of course, there's a twist. The queens must rumble in the jumble sale as they're tasked with creating looks from leftover items from Drag Race UK's previous series. Supermodel turned comedy star Michelle de Swarte joins the judging panel alongside Michelle Visage and Graham Norton.

Things are about to get bratty as RuPaul's search for the UK's Next Drag Race Superstar continues with the iconic and notoriously difficult Girl Group challenge. Split into two girl groups, the queens are tasked with singing and dancing live in front of Mama Ru, and this season's song is a hyperpop bop worthy of Charli XCX. Thankfully, Girls Aloud's very own Nadine Coyle drops in to give the queens a masterclass on vocals before joining the judging panel alongside queen of queens, RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Graham Norton.

Award-winning actor Jane Horrocks joins the judging panel as Mama Ru tests the queens' overacting skills with a series of scripts that pay homage to the UK's famous legacy of bonk-buster fiction. And in uncanny timing, Jane, famed for playing the part of Bubble, Eddie's hapless PA in Absolutely Fabulous, is on hand to give her thoughts on a very special Ab Fab runway in A Night of a Thousand Sweetie Darlings. Michelle Visage and Alan Carr complete the judging panel as the queens once again fight for a much-coveted RuPeter badge and survival.

RuPaul tests the queens' charisma, nerve and star power as they take to the SS Tickety Boo to perform in a nautical Talent Show.
