10 Episodes 2019 - 2020
Episode 1
Tue, Nov 5, 201943 mins
Bears serves a relatively light version of jungle ordeal to actress Brie Larson, helicopter-dropped on one of the Pearl Islands in the Gulf of Panama. Grubs are the best available food in the mangrove coast, where a rhino-like layer of mud is needed as mosquito repellent. A steel cable is the safest way over a crocodile-infested river, a canoe their way out of the swamp, when it leaks Bear twig-fixes it. A treat is feasting on freshly caught crab from an improvised fire with coconut as desert. The sting is in the tail of the tale: cliff repelling to their extraction vessel.

Episode 2
Tue, Nov 12, 201947 mins
Apart from a Bowie knife he brings, TV comedian Joel McHale seems to make a joke of the gear and preparations for his journey with Bear in some of the deeper sloth canyons of Arizona. Bear lowers them in from a tow truck, which they also raid for supplies -in Joel's backpack, like all further finds- and tests his agility to run for a flood in seconds. They progress painstakingly, testing Bear's brand new sand anchor technique, filtering horror-green stagnant water and collecting a rotting bird as dinner, to be cooked from a fire started with lenses. Finally the greatest muscle strain is climbing up again to the evacuation point.

Bear and his guest, model and actress Cara Delevingne, take on the mountains and waterfalls of Sardinia, Italy. They also catch a rat for dinner.

Tue, Nov 26, 201947 mins

Episode 5
46 mins
Bear takes Hollywood star Arnie Hammer to the wild Sardinian coast and learns he enjoyed a fairly wild rural youth, spelling some survival-helpful skills and confidence, which prove true. Helicopter-dropped, the men swim to high cliffs and climb them aptly, pleasantly surprised to find high waves even washed up a giant sea bass, somewhat decomposing but still worth harvesting their tasty fish dinner. They make their way trough the typical Mediterranean island bush, and spotting a wild goat Bear catches it by hand to enable startled Arnie to try his hand and mouth at liking it. Hammer is treated to a surprise sequel as the helicopter which picks them up actually drops them on a tiny column-shaped grant island, which they must climb down from to be picked up by boat.

Episode 6
47 mins
Bear and Dave compare rich scars collections testifying to their physically adventurous careers and bond easily on the-is mission to start on one side of the huge Glen Canyon in Arizona, follow the river down deep and climb the other side to extraction point. Bear cleverly uses the wrestler turned actor's ursine strentgh as beast of burden to climb using heavy logs. Dave grew up in poverty with a single mother who often had bad boyfriends and moved from crime-infested DC to SF but provided the emotional nest warmth during his slum youth. After abseiling and rope-running they reach the river and fish by hand before weaving from willow angling rafts Indian style. They cook their catch at a camp fire with urine lenses. Climbing the rope Bear lays proves hardest for Dave, given his immense size and weight.

A helicopter ride into the mountains is where their journey begins but from there, danger lurks at every turn - from giant rock domes and deadly bogs to raging rivers with currents strong enough to move cars.
