Episode 1
Kakeru is conned into joining his universities Track and Field team with eight other guys by Haiji, who believes their ragtag group can win the elite Hakone Ekiden relay marathon.

Episode 2
Met with surprise, disbelief, and outrage from his new teammates, Haiji sets about to convince them the Hakone Ekiden is possible.
Episode 3
The team grudgingly begins morning practice while Haiji continues his fight to convince them to run the Hakone.
Episode 4
Kurahara runs into one of his high school teammates which brings up memories he doesn't want to deal with. Meanwhile, Haiji is gaining more and more supporters and coming dangerously close to holding a majority.
Episode 5
Despite lingering skepticism, the team begins to train in earnest for the Hakone Ekiden.

Episode 6
The King is stressed out about his job search. Meanwhile, the team is beginning to realize they need a way to fund their gear and travel expenses.
Episode 7
Despite Kakeru's dire predictions that their first track meet will crush everyone's spirits, Kansai University Track Team attends their first official meet.
Episode 8
After their first track meet, the team begins adjusting their training for their next meet in two weeks.
Episode 9
Only five members are allowed to run in the upcoming track meet and Kakeru is upset he isn't one of them.
Episode 10
Inspired by words from the Prince and Haiji, Kakeru makes a breakthrough in improving the Prince's technique.
Episode 11
Running in the rain without proper gear inspires the team to up their recruiting for fan club members.
Episode 12
After another track meet to secure official times, the team heads to a summer training camp.
Episode 13
After a conflict with a former team mate, Kakeru can't stop thinking about what happened on his high school track team.
Episode 14
As the summer training camp comes to a close, the team sets their sights on getting everyone an official time to qualify.
Episode 15
The team prepare for the Qualifier in their own style and then the day of the event arrives.
Episode 16
The Qualifier reaches it's end and results are announced.
Episode 17
The team has to come to terms with the large difference between their times and the top team's times. If they can't win, then what are they running for?
Episode 18
Fujioka shares some of the circumstances surrounding Haiji's injury. As the Hakone draws near, Haiji shares the line up.
Episode 19
The race begins. The Prince, Musa, and Jota run the first three sections - each digging deep to finish strong.
Episode 20
Joji and Shindo run part 4 and 5 of the Hakone, but Shindo has come down with a bad fever.
Episode 21
Yuki starts off day two in section 6 and Nico takes section 7.
Episode 22
The King takes section 8 meeting up with Kakeru for section 9. Kakeru hopes to make up time.
Episode 23
Haiji runs the last leg of the race, but as he tries to ensure the team a seeded spot, his leg begins to act up.
