Rude Tube Season 3 Episodes

7 Episodes 2010 - 2011

Episode 1

Epic Fails

Many YouTube posts star unlucky 'heroes' whose endeavors go spectacularly wrong. Some arouse sympathetic pity, others rather seem to deserve utter ridicule. Some hurt only their pride, the less lucky incur serious damage. As video-cameras are everywhere nowadays, Murphys's law is recorded about as universally.

Episode 2

Animal Madness

Animals do crazy things on YouTube, like a chinchilla licking a cat, a goose attacking a dog and his master in a boat, a barking cat, one that keeps playing a music teacher's piano, a skateboarding bulldog. A donkey mysteriously pesters a pants-down man in his meadow, an elephant abusing his trunk up a peer's backside. Some are staged, like a chained monkey driving a miniature motorcycle in Jakarta. Some are fluke victims, like an albatross killed by a golf Ball. Or of nature, like a couple of rhinoceros failing to mate or a drunk squirrel. Or of an over-weight cart lifting a donkey in Cairo. A Hawaiian daredevil surfs drawn by a hooked-up shark.

Ultimate Champions

Tue, Oct 5, 2010

The race for Internet becoming ever more competitive, people strive for the most bizarre records, like greatest number of undershorts worn simultaneously, or really testing ones, like breaking concrete blocks or kicking one's own head. Some elaborate on sports, like freestyle football juggling. To others it comes naturally, sometimes it's mainly a matter of painstaking preparation, like lining-up for mattress dominoes. Sometimes a failed attempt is still funny enough to post, like a Japanese boy's rapid push-ups. Some amount to inventions, like explosive, Coke-based formulas.

Episode 4

Total Stunts

YouTube shows thousands of stunts. Numerous are jumps and falls from, over or on just about anything and anywhere, with or without safety device, triumphant or painfully smashing on vulnerable body parts. Risks are just as real in para-sailing or on the ground, as with urban 'parkour' acrobatics or skateboarding, or even driving cars on an Indian circus ramp devised for motorbikes.

Episode 5

Rude Tunes

Music(ality) plays a major part in countless YouTube posts. Some improvise 'instruments', like drumming on a mate's head, on school lockers or even band-wise using all moving parts of a car. Some write outrageous lyrics, or parodies. Some cleverly put music and/or (alternative) lyrics on non-performance scenes from real life. Other cases are about dancing or miserable failures to move musically.

Episode 6

Viral Ads

YouTube contains many 'viral' advertisements, which gained sort of a cult following on their entertaining merits, even regardless of the product. Often they seem like ordinary non-commercial posts, one might rather compare those to product placement. Dverse types of stunts, humor and oddity are represented.
