Episode 1
Sisters Margaret and Jodie Burke want to renovate the home in Foxrock that they grew up in, but they have their differences and are like chalk and cheese. When it comes to renovating their home Dermot's task is to create three homes in one, a space to suit Margaret, another for Jodie's needs, and a third for socialising. Will he be able to come up with a project that will keep both girls happy?
Episode 2
When Pádraig Whooley and Lorraine Dufficey spent EUR265,000 on their remote cottage at Rossmore in West Cork, they knew that while the hilltop location was ideal, the house was far from it. The house is very small, they have no storage, it's cramped, claustrophobic, cold, damp and they need more space. They hope that Dermot can give them a bigger living space on a budget of 120,000 euros.
Episode 3
James and Annmarie Sowray live with their three children in an 1860s former fisherman's cottage in Laytown, Co. Meath. They are now outgrowing the house and need to extend, but the problem for Dermot is that the property is built on at least four levels with some shoddy workmanship during ad hoc extensions. Can he level the whole house and add a grand courtyard within their EUR68,000 budget.
Episode 4
Dermot Bannon helps Brian and Julie Keane renovate their three-bedroom home they bought thirteen years ago. It's cramped, dark and they have very little privacy on the estate the house is located on. Their problem is that the parts they use most get no sunlight so Dermot's task is to extend the house and rearrange the layout to make the house bright and spacious.
Episode 5
Denise McCarthy, Ben Simpson and their two children live in their 1940s house they bought seven years ago and spent EUR15,000 trying to renovate it. The house is dark, cramped the ceilings are low and the house badly needs redesigning to let more sunlight in. Top of their list is an en suite bathroom and a more spacious kitchen/living/dining area. How much of their wish list will they get for EUR95,000.
Episode 6
Dermot is in Tullow with Tom and Lisa Nolan and their two children who want to renovate their 19th century farmhouse which Tom inherited 11 years ago. It looks deceptively big from the outside but is cramped on the inside. Dermot plans to connect the farmhouse to a modernised outbuilding with a double height glazed extension to include a kitchen/dining/family room with panoramic views of the farmland, and above, a spacious bedroom with en-suite.
Episode 7
Yvonne Hughes and John Nugent bought their semi-detached in Dundalk 17 years ago. They have since had two children and are running out of space. In 2006, they bought their next-door neighbours' house when it came up for sale. The house has been mostly unoccupied since they bought it and Dermot's remit is to knock two houses into one as a newly designed spacious family home.
Episode 8
Jim and Siobhan Doyle live in a beautiful old house overlooking Dublin Bay in Sutton. Siobhan grew up in the house and is very emotionally attached to it. So much so that ten years ago the couple bought the house from Siobhan's siblings. With Dermot Bannon's help and budget of 170,000 Euros they transform the rambling old house into a beautiful new space.
