They have overcome the sophomore curse: that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. However this year, the rookies of 15 Division are going to have to learn to be careful what they wish for - and they are going to learn it the hard way.

And he meets someone he knows who recently just got out. Dov goes into a convenience store and he sees someone behind the counter. Doc asks him to come out, he ducks. Dov tells him to come out, he comes up with a gun and shoots at him. Dov shoots back. Later the investigation the arrives and there and finds no gun. So everyone tries to find it. And the store owner doesn't corroborate Dov's account of what happened. And the guy Best knows upon learning of what happened, threatens retaliation if Dov gets off.
