53 mins
With another harsh winter on the way, the team splits up to cover two mega jobs in postcard-perfect Brigus. An ambitious rebuild overlooking the harbor stalls when one of the massive beams integral to the renovation doesn't measure up, and navigating the home's lofty perch in a forklift leaves no margin for error. Down the road, the team uncovers a historic root cellar and mysterious bone fragments while digging out the floor of a 200-year-old home by hand, and, even with Randy's father on site, there's always time for a harmless prank. Meanwhile, vintage lumber is transformed at the wood shop. And, after putting the finishing touches on a custom home with the best view on the island, the team lets loose with an old-fashioned kitchen party.

The entire team is on-site to tackle a major rebuild that just keeps growing, but work grinds to a halt when the pre-cut roof trusses don't measure up. Down the road, the ambitious upgrade of a 200-year-old home continues amid ice and snow. Randy and the rookie head to the roof to dismantle a precarious old chimney, brick by brick. Randy and his father plan to build a new family home from scratch in the dead of winter, but red tape and a broken excavator threaten to halt the project before it begins. Meanwhile, back at home, the entire family collaborates on a craft room surprise for Randy's wife Melissa, where the biggest challenge is keeping her in the dark.

After a maritime good luck ceremony, it's full steam ahead on a century home's lighthouse-inspired addition. The team battles foul weather, wood rot, and a knotty batch of lumber, but Paul still finds time to squeeze through a tiny hole-all in the name of a free lunch. With special help from the local blacksmith, Randy and the rookie collaborate on a surprise bathroom upgrade for a friend. And, on the other side of town, Randy hustles to pour the concrete foundation of his parents' new home before a major blizzard brings the island to a standstill for an indefinite period, causing Randy to stress about his many projects on the go.
Episode 4
After a record-breaking snowstorm hits Newfoundland and grounds the crew for a week-and with another big storm on the horizon-the team is motivated to move ahead on three ambitious projects. Randy calls for backup to help install a mighty beam. Nikki wields a jackhammer and giant blowtorch to make way for a new concrete floor. And, a well-worn deck-rotted out from years next to the sea-is overhauled as part of a bigger build. Later, the decorators step in as Randy and the team prepare a 200-year-old showpiece for the big reveal.
Episode 5
The arrival of spring on Canada's east coast means the team is busier than ever, and that the walls can finally go up on Randy's Mom's new home. During a two-storey concrete pour at the water's edge, Nikki gets her sea legs before accepting a dare that has everyone howling. On a project that just keeps growing, a stone fireplace gets a shiplap overhaul in a nod to Newfoundland's past. And, just in time for the big reveal, the team pulls out all the stops to complete the loving transformation of a 150-year-old home on the bay.
Episode 6
It's summertime in Newfoundland, and the team is in a hurry to jump-start the renovation of a 100-year-old barn before the historic building is lost forever. On a challenging land-and-sea job, Randy calls in a massive crane and dive crew to install a floating dock. Meanwhile, Nikki takes charge of installing the windows at Randy's Mom's new house. That is, until the rain sends her home. And, the crew takes sides during a friendly yet competitive softball game.

The short summer on Canada's east coast has the team working and playing hard as they hammer away at an historic barn that's getting a new lease on life. A year in the making, everyone is relieved to wrap up a massive project overlooking Brigus with an emotional reveal and a house party for the entire community. And, amid whales and wildlife, Randy, Nikki, and the crew head out on the water for a competitive cod-fishing expedition where the size of the catch means everything.

And, a flaw becomes a feature when the kitchen walls come down in a historic home on Jellybean Row in St John's.

Meanwhile, making up for lost time, the construction site at Randy's Mom's new place starts looking like a house with a cabin-in-the-woods feel.
