Her flirtatious demeanor seems to go beyond playful banter, and she makes a few bold advances toward Jimmy, unaware that he's married. Later, Beth discovers that what should have been a romantic evening with Jimmy was overshadowed by his fantasies about Jessica Alba, putting their relationship to the test.

When Jimmy's old girlfriend Stacey joins him and Beth for dinner, Beth is stunned to learn that Jimmy had proposed to Stacey years earlier. During an appearance on Jimmy and Carl's radio show, hip-hop star Marques Houston offers some blunt advice: propose to Beth again with a brand-new diamond ring.
