Father figure to the SHB crew, Phil answers why he got started, telling about his early days meeting Ronnie Van Zant when Lynyrd Skynyrd was just starting, explaining how Van Zant was a father to the others in that band. Themes of maturing, family, and personal sacrifice and devotion, with that sort of late night journey through Rod Serling's home turf as a gloss. Reg has an epiphany that may affect his relationship with Kelli Ann and the whole crew and band. The music is all Skynyrd. The song of the day puts a bow on it. Is talk of Skynyrd a foreshadowing?
