Lili is a 17-year-old typist who works at Le Musee de l'Homme. She helps her boss Boris produce a newsletter for the Resistance. She soon becomes more involved in the group at the museum working as a courier. She meets Jeannot - a youth who tries to escape to England to join De Gaulle - The Kirschens - a Jewish family whose two boys are keen to join the Resistance - and Rene (The Kid) - who works at the garage that smuggles the airmen out of Paris and distributes the newsletter.

When all of the Résistance paper staff is arrested by French police, Lili is sure there is a traitor among them, one who can bring a fatal blow to their group of resistance!

Lili's friends are all captured by the Germans. So she joins another group of resistance fighters. They teach her how to build bombs and shoot guns.

After another hit, Andre gets caught. Because of his capture, Lili is in danger and has to flee.

Lili's mission to rescue Victoria from hospital is cut short when Victoria and other leaders of the resistance are captured by the Gestapo.
