Bingo manages to clear himself of his suspension but tragedy is not far away.

Elsewhere, Michelle sees Vince's new girlfriend in a different light when she comes onto to Ian and Lara goes to see her estranged father at his nursing home.

Michelle's car is hijacked at traffic lights and the culprit drives off with James inside. A high-speed chase leads to the car crashing but with no sign of James in car. The car-jacker dies at the scene but not before he tells them he was paid to take James. Initially thinking it has something to do with Van Heusan's threats to Ian Vince and Rescue are shocked to discover that Ian's ex-girlfriend Renae and now Vince's girlfriend is the person behind it. A frantic search leads to a daring rescue of both James and Michelle. Elsewhere, Chase is injured during a rescue of a window washer on a high-rise cityscape. Meanwhile, Dean finds out he is not the father of Michelle's baby.
