Family members urge Van to get an agent for himself, instead of dealing directly with the team owners. He finds a great agent - Sadie, but she'll only represent him if she feels he's of good character, and would therefore like to meet his family. The initial meeting goes well. But as Reba and Sadie talk in private, it comes out that Sadie thinks Reba is a lesbian, like her. (She gets this idea because Van said she was "super-gay" when trying to cover up a faux-pas he made when meeting with her.) Reba has inadvertently asked Sadie out on a date when this is revealed, and goes to confront Van about her "outing". Reba then tries to figure how to tell Sadie the truth without hurting her feelings and not ruining Van's chances at being signed.

To get experience, she tries to sell Brock's condo. She gets a generous offer, but it is less than Brock's unrealistic selling price. Reba and Barbara Jean suspect there is some other reason why Brock is reluctant to sell.
