Staten Island: Part 1

Ray buddies up to the Cop that rescued him from his leap of faith off of an NYC building. Ray lays low with his new friend in Staten Island until a reporter shows up asking questions about his buddy and the day he was rescued. At the same time, Sam Winslow (Susan Sarandon) needs Ray's help again, this time to handle a matter of undesirable photos of the woman Sam is endorsing for Mayor of New York. In exchange for Winslow sidetracking this reporter to leave his friend alone, he takes the job. Meanwhile Daryl has navigated his way through Hollywood and manages to get the green light to make Mickey's movie. Seeing this report on television from jail, Mickey takes it upon himself to expedite an early release. Terry is still in New York training his young fighter. Bridget and Schmitty are also still in New York and seem quite happy but both still have some unresolved issues with Ray. Bunchy tries to hold it together as Teresa is awarded primary custody of Maria following their divorce.
