Idealistic, incorruptible IRS agent Jim Prufrock receives a mysterious fax containing financial information about the shady Versailles Casino in a small corrupt Nevada desert town called Push. Jim travels there to investigate who sent him the fax and why, and uncovers hints of a government conspiracy of unfathomable proportions. Meanwhile, mysterious men in black search for a bible stolen along with $1 million from the casino's vault. In each episode, a clue is inconspicuously given about the secret message that the viewers should put together and send to the production studio to win actual $1 million. Although the show was canceled before all clues were given, a lucky viewer managed to put it all together and win the prize.

By the book IRS agent Jim Prufrock receives a fax containing financial information from the Versailles Casino, with the name and phone number of a Silas Bodnick. He calls Mr. Bodnick to report the financial information's accidental release and the accounting error he can't help but notice. Bodnick threatens the agent to not contact him again, making the agent decide to pursue the matter and he takes off for Push, Nevada. A large amount of money is apparently stolen from the Versailles Casino.
