They found a spacious suburban house with a stunning backyard and pool, but the inside is stuck in the past. Too busy to decorate, they've been making do with folding tables, air mattresses and an oversized bean bag chair. More importantly, the living room is closed off from the outdoor space, the kitchen needs expanding and they need more flow throughout the main floor. Drew and Jonathan take charge to rework the kitchen, dining room, living room and mudroom, finally turn this outdated house into a home ready for a family.

Home Run Reno

Sarah and Todd bought their suburban Las Vegas home off plan 9 years ago. Since then, they've had two sons, who have grown into major sports enthusiasts and use the house as their personal playing field. The walls are covered in scuff marks from slap shots, the floors are trashed and the front entrance doubles as a batting cage. As the boys grow into teenagers, Sarah and Todd want their house to grow with them. The builder-basic finishes they once loved need updating, the main floor lacks storage and the boys need a hangout space of their own. Drew and Jonathan step up to bat to overhaul the main floor leaving the family with a beautiful and functional house that is less hockey rink and more Forever Home.

So Much Love to Give

Kevin and Jammie bought their suburban Vegas home when it was just the two of them. Years later, they jumped at the chance to adopt three boys under five. They knew life would be crazy but they had so much love to give and were thrilled to start a family. Soon after, they discovered the boys had a baby sister and adopted her too. All of a sudden, their cozy home for two doesn't work for their busy family of 6. Kevin and Jammie want to give their kids a stable and happy home, but the sunken living room is a huge trip hazard, walls block sightlines, the kids' rooms are cramped, and the couple desperately needs a home office. Drew and Jonathan totally overhaul the house so that it grows with the family and gives them a foundation for the kids' new lives.

Buying Mom and Dad's House

Mike and Ashley were high school sweethearts. When Ashley's parents went to sell her childhood home, they jumped at the chance to buy the house with dreams of raising their own family there one day. Although they already have a lifetime of memories in the house - Mike picked up Ashley for Prom on the front porch and asked her Dad for Ashley's hand in marriage in front of the fireplace - they need Drew and Jonathan's help to put their own stamp on it. The walls in the main area blocked sightlines, the finishes are outdated and the tight kitchen lacks flow. Drew and Jonathan tackle the kitchen, living room, dining room, primary bedroom suite and help Mike surprise Ashley with the one room that will finally make this house their very own forever home.

Honoring Lola

Three years ago, Charisma and Eric moved to Las Vegas with their kids and Charisma's mother, Lola, to be in the warmer weather. Lola helped the family choose a spacious suburban home with lots of potential and plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. But the chance to live with Lola was cut short when she passed away on the day they moved in and the family's renovations plans were put on hold. Now that they've had time to heal, they're ready to get their dreams for their home back on track. The living room are covered with dated stone, the kitchen finishes are outdated and the dining room walls close it off from the rest of the house. Drew and Jonathan tackle the entry, the living room, family room, dining room and kitchen to help Charisma and Eric start over in the home of their dreams.

Forever Home for the Holidays

High school sweethearts Misti and Steve have been searching for eight years to find the perfect house for their boisterous family of six. They needed to find room to raise their active kids, have the house accommodate their son's accessibility needs and have enough space to host their large family holiday parties. Then Misti and Steve found this ranch house with plenty of square footage and knew it was the one for them. Before they can properly settle in and host this year's epic family Christmas party, the home's interior needs a complete do-over. The chopped up layout on the main floor makes the home feel disjointed and blocks sightlines, the deep sunken living room is tough to get to for their son and their kitchen is in desperate need of an upgrade and better function. Drew and Jonathan take the reins and completely transform the main living room area to give Misti, Steve and their kids the best Christmas yet in the forever home of their dreams.

Episode 7

A Fresh Start

Marcie is an Air Force veteran, cancer survivor and was looking for a fresh start for her and her teenage daughters Alyssa and Paige when she bought her home over a year ago. Marcie turned to Yoga to heal her body and mind and found a supportive community of women in the area that became her family. Marcie found a renter home and was attracted to it's warm, positive energy that she bought it from the landlord, but it's far from perfect. Marcie runs her health and wellness business out the front entry which limits privacy across the main floor and reduces entertaining space. The outdated kitchen cabinets are chewed and tattered from the previous renters. Her primary bathroom does not have a door and the walls are covered with dated stone. Drew and Jonathan overhaul the living room, kitchen, wellness studio, primary bedroom and bathroom to transform the house into the fresh, balanced, sanctuary of Marcie's dreams.

Teenager in the House

Jim and Jill moved into their suburban Las Vegas home ten years ago to give their young daughter Sophia room to grow. They love the neighborhood and large backyard but now that Sophia is almost a teenager, the home is not working for them the way it use to. The 90's style kitchen is tight and feels like an afterthought, their dining space can't accommodate their family gatherings and the living room is closed off from the other spaces. Drew and Jonathan transform the living room, kitchen and dining room, and Sophia's piano space to help Jim and Jill's home grow with them and their daughter.

Do It for the Kids

Katie and Jason moved into their Las Vegas home two years ago to achieve their dream of helping kids by becoming foster parents. They both come from large families and want to give foster children the same safe and loving environment that they had growing up. They love their family friendly neighborhood and the large yard has plenty of space for puppies and kids to play. However, the home lacks a warm welcoming vibe. The rooms are large but disjointed, a wall with a bulky broken fireplace divides the main floor, the kitchen's layout is simply not functional. In addition, the home needs to be updated to fulfill safety guidelines that will allow Katie and Jason to be foster parents. Drew and Jonathan rework the entire main floor to transform Katie and Jason's house into a sanctuary for them and future kids for years to come.
