Episode 1
A scientist dies and the police think it is suicide. The reporter Terry Corcoran starts to investigate a pharmaceutical company called Chemacran, where the dead man was employed. Chemacran is in the middle of a merger, due to the success of its antidepressant, Seraban.
Episode 2
Some Dublin racists throw a firebomb in to a fast food place run by a refugee family. Maureen who is also a reporter finds the dirt on the Chemacran merger. Terry and Cora, who is the dead scientist's wife, discover a dead body.
Episode 3
Maureen investigates the link between American Pharmaceutical and politician Gerry Rogan. Terry and Cora learn a crucial pice of information about the drug, Seraban, which could have a bearing on Jake's case, as he is charged with murder.
Episode 4
Having learned of Seraban's hazardous side effects, Terry next connects the dots between Rogan and the clinical trials of the drug. He tries to contact Maureen, but she is at O'Farrell's house, unaware of the danger. Terry rushes to confront O'Farrell before the deal is signed and more people are hurt.
