Episode 1
New York City sports agent Brett Parker returns to his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada where he is offered the job as the new general manager for the Hamilton Steelheads hockey team.
Episode 2
The Steelheads face some bad luck after Brett breaks their lucky bottle; Mark Simpson gets a concussion and hides his symptoms from everyone.
Episode 3
Simpson continues to hide his concussion symptoms; Michelle is sentenced to community service; Bud Travis arrives from Houston to talk about buying the team.
Episode 4
Brett rehires the Steelheads' former coach, Lloyd Gorman; Simpson is benched from playing due to his concussion; Michelle gets injured while doing her community service.
Episode 5
Brett shows up at the team's fishing camp intent on signing goalie Al Tremblay, losing his fiancée in the process.
Episode 6
Todd Maplethorpe's brother joins the team, but when their competitive nature gets the best of them, the coach makes it clear that only one of the brothers can stay on the team;. Brett has a new idea for the team's opening night.
Episode 7
In order to get the team on the map, Brett pursues hockey bad boy Bobby Gunn and ignores his behavior until he discovers that Bobby is dating Michelle.
Episode 8
After the Steelheads' new rookie ends up injured during a hazing ritual, the team works to cover it up, but a young fan who witnessed the incident makes demands to Brett in order to keep him from telling.
Episode 9
When a family-values orange juice dealer is interested in having one of the Steelheads as a spokesperson, things get complicated when it's discovered that the player chosen is cheating on his wife; Renata has an unpleasant encounter with a potential investor for the team.

Brett and Colleen butt heads when he wants to sell tickets to the luxury boxes, while she'd rather keep profits down so she'll be more successful in selling the team to Bud Travis.
Episode 11
Brett uses his connections to lift the suspension of hockey goon Frank Dusky so he and Todd can fight on the ice, but during the game, things go terribly wrong; the issues between Mark and his wife Rayanne get worse after Rayanne's father dies and Mark chooses to play hockey instead of being with his family.
Episode 12
After Frank Duskey is hospitalized after fighting with Todd in the previous episode, Todd can't help but second guess himself. Meanwhile, Brett and Colleen go over the books and realize there is no way that they can keep the team alive unless they make some cuts.
Episode 13
Parker secretly meets with Bud Travis to negotiate the sale of the Steelheads to Houston while Colleen is forced to liquidate the team in order to infuse some cash back into McArdle industries. All goes awry when Duff goes into a coma. Meanwhile, Michelle is ready to leave for the London School of Economics.
