Douglas, having recently completed work on a movie about the painter Vincent Van Gogh, still wears the beard that he grew for that role. For Gilbert and Stang, this show was something of a reunion since Ruth played Maxie on Milton Berle's show, where Arnold played Francis the stagehand, just as he does with Como. Perry performs "Jingle Bells," "The Christmas Waltz," "Memories are Made of This," "Shadow Waltz," "Hello, Young Lovers," and "The Lord's Prayer." The Male Quartet sings "Honey, Honey."

Perry leads Barry Gordon on a tour of "The Wonderful World of Christmas," as they travel through holiday scenes in the U.S. and in the Holy Land. The Ray Charles singers join Perry for his musical version of the Nativity. Sam Levine, known professionally as A. Robins aka The Banana Man, performs his clown act. Barry performs "Nuttin' for Christmas." Perry also sings "Deck the Halls," "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," "Joy to the World" and "Ave Maria."
